would you take the risk to change water into wine even though you know you could be lapidated for sorcery at someone else wedding? or at your own for your guests and followers in a partly secret double wedding?

Well, this was the best wine Jesus made. And yes, Jesus was accused of drinking with the drunkards. So?

Also, there is heavenly wine. It is written that instead of being drunk with too much wine, rather be overfilled with the Holy Spirit. See? The Holy Spirit is the best 'high'. And fulfills this need to be accepted & loved & intoxicated in the Spirit. There is therefor, now no condemnaton for those who are in Christ Jesus.

As I can't do that I wouldn't take the risk.

BUT, Jesus being the Christ and doing the Will of His Father, that's an entirely different thing than what you're talking about.

first it was NOT Christ's wedding.
secondly, He was not looked at as a socerer for generally when He preformed miracles - people who were around knew and understood.
