Don't we get some credit for sorting things out too then if we're "running it all"?

I'm pretty sure it wasn't the Women's Institute that soldiered into Iraq and captured Sadam Hussein.

And that, despite all the rantings against tony blair, he's the one that sent a £7 million cheque to Pakistan to help with the aids crisis.

So, can you cut us men some slack for a while? :-)

Well, I know it is an extremely odd religion IMO. But what exactly are the details, I know they believe in like aliens and some other stuff, but I am confused. People like Tom Cruise and John Trevolta actually believe some of this stuff?

When a sensible question is put about u or ur country either do not revert or beat behind the bush. Is it only because you particularly dont have an answer or you are just in to add couple of points to your credit. Recently I asked what are you doing to control cows and bulls on main roads, not a sensible answer came but swearings. My question still stands about Ganga, people bathing in open river, you can see for yourself what answers I got, ill-conceived and irrelevant. Why you see human bodies afloat in Ganga, birds eating their flesh pass through you? Is this the respect you are giving to your dead ones by not giving proper cremation and throwing them into the river Ganga or is it some thing else, I do not know? Shame on you, only I got 4 answers, one with distorted facts & lies, the other three swore at me. If I ask now something about Pakistan, I will have atleast 2 dozens answers. You really are carrying malicious heart and filthy mind towards all & yell "Bharat desh mehan hai"

So I received some of the same knee-jerk reactions from people as I mentioned in my other question.

Here I want to talk about possible solutions. What do you think we can do to end racial prejudice? As evidenced in some of the responses, some white people dont want to face the realities of racisms effects on marginalized people. When we enter into discussions on it, as one commenter brilliantly pointed out, some people just feel really uncomfortable and would rather not speak on it. How do we get around that? How can we open up the doors to positive communication, so that we can find resolutions? How can we attack the issue, without attacking each other?

I identify as an African American woman. My family, however is so much more than that, but due to racism and prejudice, people only see black, when they look at me. To my knowledge, we are very mixed, black, polish jew, bajan, native american, portugese. My soon to be husband is polish and irish.

I spent this past weekend as my new Domme's student submissive. When people decide they had enough with the lifestyle, they want to change their orientation, I hear gays using qualifiers like, "Bi", "Acting", "In Denial" "Not Really Gay", "Curious" “Confused”, “Just going through a phase”, etc, as people are supposed to be born one way and can never change.

So when a person comes out as being gay, isn’t it possible that they may just be acting, curious, confused, or going through a phase? They may not be really gay after all. Wouldn’t it be best to challenge them to see if they are really gay or not? Why should it just be accepted because someone says they’re gay? After all, they may change their preference sometime soon.

At what point is a person certifiably gay, beyond the point of no return?

I just saw a report that over 50% of people don't believe a woman should be able to breast-feed her child in public. I was appalled. How else is someone who is breast-feeding supposed to leave the house the first few months? Hide in bathrooms?!? What do you think?

Today at work, a co-worker told me that I must learn to speak spanish if I wanted to keep my job, he explain to me that it is now the language spoken in this country and if I wanted to work any place I must speak spanish. I alway thought the to speak english in this country was freedom, now this, why should I have to change? What happen to my freedon, What happen to my english? Is this America?

Doesn't it bother you that the preachers on TV wear 2000 dollar suits, drive fancy cars, live in mansions, but most of the church goers are lower-middle class, middle class, hard workers who take public transportation and have mortgages to pay? why can't you folks question the practices of these pseudo-celebrities? they're obviously stealing from the church. if they practiced what they preached, they would share all their wealth with the people who come to church?

Christians believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God and Muslims believe that the Qur'an is. They can't both be, because they are inconsistent with each other. A perfect God would not inspire 2 inconsistent books.
So I ask Christians and Muslims: What more evidence is there that your book is the inspired word of God and the other isn't?
