I feel you should do a search on Pascal's Wager. It is an idea that has been thoroughly torn apart, and is widely considered irrelevant... even by apologists.
I don't know if you're espousing the concept, but either way, it's interesting to learn about. Like watching a train wreck.

It's called Pascal's wager. It is a poor argument for belief. It is cowardly (worshiping only out of fear of eternal damnation) and presumptuous (you assume you are worshiping the right god),

Well I say out of the infinite possibilities of Gods I hope they understand that there chances of being right is nothing more than a crap shoot and its just a s likely that a god exist that doesn't want to be worshiped and that disbelief in his existence is the only way to happy after life.

i'd rather be happy then suffer thinking there is a God. did you know probably the main cause of death is believe in the afterlife? i'd rather live thank you.

I think that some concepts of god cause suffering rather than alliviate it, by having people believe they are separate from their Source.
