Why punish children? Why kill them? They had nothing to do with what their parents did.

Isn't that just "evil"??

when we were studying religion in my social studies class, we studied all different religions which isn't the problem. the problem is that the christianity test was 2 pages long, and the other test was a one page mix of all the others. i understand that most people practice christianity, but what about those who don't? i don't mind learning about the religions, i just think that if they should've mixed christianity into the other test. what are your thoughts?

WHEN we die, before our death we have a choice to follow the true GOD of isreal he gives us the opp to choose him while we can and follow his will. if ur disobidiant and at the end of the day u end up with out him in ur life what would u tell him when its just u and him and no one else??? Some of the Christians told me that in order to go to heaven, you have to believe in god or Jesus. They said that you have to no matter what the circumstances, otherwise, you'll go to hell. So what about a baby? Two years old or three years old that died before they can find out the existence of god or Jesus? Are they going straight to hell for not knowing such things?

I'm guessing that there would be some people that would say "god would forgive them". Only kids? Are there age restrictions? When Christians said god are equal to all, did they mean god is just as harsh on kids as he is to adults, or god is just as soft to adults as he is to kids?

HIV is at a remarkable number in India and for some reason people in India are still so conservative about teaching their youth about sex education and sexual responsibility. Considering India is the land of the kama sutra,and when u see all that is being shown in Bollywood movies, when will people realize that its hypocritical not to emphasize the importance of sex education when its such an apparent part of our culture?

This HIV is not just happening to prostitutes or "other" people's children, its happening to their own as well...Are these people who are opposing it in denial about whats really going on in India right now?
Parents are clueless as to what their kids are doing, there is such a lack of communication between parents and kids regarding this subject and i think it makes kids more vulnerable to making the wrong decisions when it comes to sex. How do we deal with this situation when we as a culture continue to have this double standard mentality?

How do you know you're one of the 144,000? There are way more than 144,000 JWs. Also, why are the JWs the only ones who are part of the 144,000? Why would 144,000 mean JWs today? What if the 144,000 were people from 2, 3 even 4 centuries ago? Why do you think it's for people today?

Also: By looking at the verses it is obvious that the 144,000 are literal Jews of the ancient tribes with no Gentiles among them (7:4-8). They are all virgin males (14:4). If the JW states that the usage of Jewish male virgins is figurative, what gives them the right to state that number of 144,000 is literal?

I am starting to wonder if my fear of being alone is trapping me in an unhealthy relationship. I know the relationship is bad for both of us. But I keep teeling myself, and she seems to tell herself, we can fix it because we love each other. But I just keep feeling pain, and that I am causing pain. I wonder if its because I am so afraid of being alone.

I'm an atheist, but I firmly believe in the notion that if praying to a higher power makes someone happy, I have to right to try to convince them to stop. However, there are a lot of atheists who outright bash theists for beliving in a higher power. Same for theists bashing atheists for not believing in a god or gods, even though it makes us happy. Even between two different religions, or two different sects of the same religion, people are killed in attempts to prove a point. What exactly do you think it is about religion that makes it so hard for people to accept the opinions of others, as opposed to other areas of life like politics, films, or food, where differing opinions are not met with nearly as much hostility?

in diameter thats a very large asteroid impact every 122 years why havent we had a serious problem with this. And a noticeable impact every 29 years.

Where have all the asteroids gone??? Why doesnt the bible mention this frequent calamity? Have asteroids disappeared like miracles?
