One of my ancestors fought at the Alamo. He got 90 days in jail for assaulting a Mexican who worked there. It was my great uncle Ned who had just been released from a mental institution where he has seen the movie, "The Alamo" and got all fired up about it.

I'm Spanish, Native American, Irish and German. A lot of my family settled in what is now Texas in the late 1700's. Most of them are buried in the graveyard behind my Grandmother's house. It's kind of creepy, but kind of interesting, too. A lot of the graves have pictures on them and a lot of the people look like me.
