The eyes are a little scary but not that much or I would not have bought it. I researched it but did not find anything. So let me know what you guys come up with. Do I throw them away or not?

Keep the hangings. They are only voodoo relics if you use them as such...

Since the collecting and displaying of masks as decoration has a history going back to Greece and possibly before, it predates Vodou. The masks used in Greek Theatre were especially sought by Romans. Many people today collect the Chinese opera masks, some of which are quite grotesque.
Evil is not inherent in inert objects. Only humankind can instill such items with evil.

They are your hangings and you like them. Unless they are hung in grandma's house, she should respect your choices. Is she from Africia? Those are Africian animals. Don't throw them away.
