Do you feel god?

Does god actually talk to you with words?

One of the intial reasons I became atheist is because I felt no "presence" and felt like I was talking to a wall when I was praying.

I just want to know if it's just me. Yes I talked to a pastor. Yes I asked god to come before me. Perhaps I'm an empty shell =P

Let's say Jehovah comes to you late one evening, and asks you to come up with one more Commandment to add to the list. Like all the other Commandments, this one will be one of the moral standards by which all people are judged, for the rest of time.

i get the impression they only register on word. i just posted a question on reviving Latin as a global language,at least for catholics. Every response was about the latin mass. i didn't say anything about any mass,latin or otherwise. This had happened beofre. It's like they just see one "key' word and extrapolate." Latin....Catholic...guess I'll say what i think about the latin mass..." Why answer a question you haven't read?

I can remember being an infant getting washed in a bathroom sink and laying in my crib. I'll never forget how water looks to an infants eyes, it's very sparkly with all the colors of a rainbow in it. (More so than I've seen since)

I wish I could remember being in the womb but I'm not sure I'd know what I was remembering if I could.
It would be an odd memory, I guess it would mostly be sounds,feelings and possibly views of light through skin.

I went to a conference at the weekend and there was a talk by the Raeliens, Whilst I had heard of them before (a few years ago, due to the cloning) I hadn't realised they classed their religion as the religion of science. we have a monkey (more or less "intelligent being) and it evolves into a christian (more less than more "intelligent being")...so where is the evolution in here???

Now I have read that Jesus was of the "lineage of David". (Psalm 132: 11)
Now, according to Matthew 1:1-16, Joseph, Jesus' stepfather is of the lineage of David. Therefore Jesus was not related to David. I'm confused. Though I am not Christian I like studying all religions as best I can. Can someone explain how Jesus was a descendant of David if Joseph was, and was not biologically his father?

Is Myth Busters, the TV show from Discovery Channel reliable?

I want to know if it's possible to blow up a gas station by just using the phone. I saw in Myth busters that that's a myth. Aslo, I think the engine piston can create a fire because of the spark it produces..

There was a slight squabble as to whether the Elvis was real or an impersonater, but Ram Jet left her fans with no doubt she was the real deal. We will always remember her as that sweet, precious, muffin tossing, Hometown Queen. Sure hope she remembers us little folks now that she hit the bigs.
