I think the purpose of some "Christians" is to spread lies and propaganda on Y!A and then report people (who have not violated any of the community standards) who do not share their point of view or disprove their lies about other religions.
I think these troublemakers really give the true Christians on here, as well as Christianity in general a bad name.

The fear of death creates some pretty strange situations, and this is especially true when it comes to religion. If people didn't die, then they couldn't go to hell. You have to die in order to be judged and sent packing down under. I suppose the main purpose of christians is to be the targets of other religious fanatics from different religions. After all, if you believe in christianity, or Islam, or whatever, then you know who you are supposed to hate, don't you. Those heretical believers' in the devils foolish plans.
And yes, the earth does not really mean much to them. It is the worst place you can be, and because you are here then you must be a really bad sinner mister!

I love life and all these wonderful things that our lord has put here on earth for our entertainment there are so many things: love of a fine mate, children to raise/love/teach/play with, the many wonders of nature so many sports, this life is full of everything for not only Christians but even "non-believers" to do and share but the most exciting is LOVE. AMEN!! The list is endless.

No, "escape" is the wrong word here. To overcome the world is a life's work, and there are many who do not understand the depth of overcoming the world, and so they do not start their journey in that direction.

God even has a purpose for YOU! Why don't you let Him in your life and He will show you!
To know God and be ready for heaven, follow these steps:
A. Admit you are a sinner.
"There is no one righteous, not even one ... for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
Romans 3:10,23. (See Romans 5:8; 6:23.)
Ask God's forgiveness.
"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
Romans 10:13
B. Believe in Jesus
(put your trust in Him) as your only hope of salvation.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 (See John 14:6.)
Become a child of God by receiving Christ.
"To all who receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God." John 1:12 (See Revelation 3:20.)
C. Confess that Jesus is your Lord.
"If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9 (See verse 10.)

We have purpose, we're trying to make it better. Then there are the hatemongers, who seem to do nothing but spread hate and intolerance. Is this your entire purpose in life, spreading hate? Do you like what you see when you look in the mirror? I can't imagine you could.

whatever it is, it's good ...
Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Romans 9:11 - (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)

Our only purpose is to glorify God, both in this life and the life to come (i.e., after the general resurrection).
