I can remember being an infant getting washed in a bathroom sink and laying in my crib. I'll never forget how water looks to an infants eyes, it's very sparkly with all the colors of a rainbow in it. (More so than I've seen since)

I wish I could remember being in the womb but I'm not sure I'd know what I was remembering if I could.
It would be an odd memory, I guess it would mostly be sounds, feelings and possibly views of light through skin.

I'm 40 by the way so you'll know how far back I'm talking about.

Dear one, nobody remembers being in the womb--this brain that many of us scarcely use as adults isn't quite ready in the womb. Anyway, I remember being four and dancing on the bar in the redneck dive in Atlanta that Papa owned. I remember the shouts and the applause, and on the day I turned 17 I made my way to New York where I would be an actor, which I still am.

My first memories are from when I was 3 years old and going into the hospital for a tonsillectomy. I remember the crib, my father bringing me a Mrs. Beasley doll, the bed wheeling me to the big room with really bright lights and the black mask. I have a huge blank spot after the operation though as I had a reaction to the penicillin afterwards and it almost killed me so they put me in a medical coma for a week.

I can remember being 8 months old and in my crib. I had to wear wooden braces at night to help correct a pigeon toed foot or something like that. Anyway, the braces went from my hip to my feet and there was a piece of metal in the middle right at my knees, so I couldn't bend them, which drove me crazy cuz I luv to sleep in the fetal position. So I remember lifting up my legs, which were so heavy I had to brace my back with my hands, and I would rub my feet back and forth on the crib bars (which made ALOT of noise) I can hear it right now in my head, until my Mom would get up and take the brace thing off. My Mom can't believe I remember that, but I remember it like it was yesterday!! But don't ask me what I had for lunch....I agree with julescarecrow...the water does sound magical.

I remember being in my crib at the age of 1 or younger with Dr. Hook's "When you're in love with a beautiful woman" playing on the radio, which incidentally came out the same year I was born. I also remember being in my crib, waking one morning and hearing voices coming from the living room. I tried to say "Mama" (to my step-mother), but it was like I was paralyzed and my voice had been stolen from my lips as I mouthed the word repeatedly. My mother says a mute demon had stolen my voice, but she HAS been in and out of mental hospitals my whole life.lol (seriously though) I wish I too could remember the water from back then, it sounds almost magical from a babies perspective.

Christmas, at age 18 months; being totally, completely fascinated with the lights on the tree. I just laid down underneath the tree and looked straight up. Colored sparkly lights everywhere. My first Wow experience, I think.

And that was, oh, let's say a bit over 50 years ago.

I can't remember my experience in the womb either, but I'm pretty sure that I was laughing about something...My adoptive parents told me that I was the only one laughing, when they chose me.

I honestly do seem to remember wanting desperately,to be released from the confinds of my crib, when I was 1-3 yrs of age...

One cool trick in jogging, hidden memories is to write with the opposite of your dominate hand...(figures,I am ambidextrous,as a drummer)..So I just simply write with my toes. LOL

I can't remember which is the earliest. I do remember hitting my self in the head with a hammer. and breaking the glass out of the gas meter, again with a hammer.
you would think that with my love for hammers I would have grown up to be a carpenter. not so.

I was 5, and am now 64.

In the bath with my brother, also a dog barking in my face, both before I was 2.

I'm 6 foot 1 now. In my memory the dog's about 8 feet. Does anyone have a memory of a bigger dog?

The latest I can remember was when I was 3 years old and I thought I was an airplane. I ran thru our open front door and 'crashed' into our couch. I couldn't really feel my arm so I went to my mom and asked if my arm was broken. She told me to open a piece of gum and when I couldn't she took me to the doctors. Turned out I broke my right wrist. It sure taught me a lesson on air planes and how to avoid things! =)

I was sitting on the potty chair unable to follow the commands given to me. But there was a time when I was amusing myself on the floor under my parents bed where I was forced to stay at times. Much more fun than a potty chair.
