I have been forced (only today) to block some very nice and apparently well meaning people!
I HATE IT.
It makes me very sad that we have come to this. I've lost my main account and I am now forced to be more careful!
Please people...forgive me....I'm so sorry. Don't add me as a contact until we get to know each other better.
I'm sooo sorry. :(
To those I know already - remember to go ahead and add me. If you've changed your name, just send me a note to identify yourself. If I block, I may have made a mistake (I'm gettin' old you know).
Thank you

I've only known a few,and they were elderly. Is the Church letting Latin die out? What is the common language used at conclaves? Also, what do you think about reviving Latin as a global language,at least for Catholics? (The priests i mentioned could talk conversational latin - pretty amazing).

I'm not a fan of the man, and I could vent for hours about his evilness and why he's going to hell, but there has to be some good things he's done for society? I know he signed some bill that sent a lotta money to Africa for vaccines....thats the only thing I can think of that he's done good.....what else?

F**k religion and everything it's done to our world. I was extremely religious at one point but now I'm sick and tired of it. I 'praise' God but won't do it in any fashion that causes persecution. If God is great then He is one evil sunovabitch for creating us.

I truely mean no disrespect just some honest answers. I love learning about others' paths but am very confused about Catholics. Catholics claim to be Christians right? How come you confess to man instead of God? How come you do infant baptism? Jesus taught forgiveness so then why are divorced couples banned from the church? Is any of this mentioned in the NT? IF so please provide scripture!!! Thank you so much for taking the time to educate me in this matter!!! (((Hugs)))

These days every Joe Smith with a good salespitch is forming a church and calling themselves "Christian". Back in the 1800's several new religious groups sprouted up during the many revival movements that were happening back then. Darwinism was telling people that we all evolved and that the whites were the superior race. Some of the new religious groups used racism to attract the white slave owners.

Thats when the KKK sprang up. They claimed Christianity , yet practiced violent Racism.

If, over the years they slowly changed their ways to become more mainstream and attract new followers, they denounced racism and got a revelation to allow African Americans into the Priesthood, would you consider them to be Christian?

What if they changed their name to the Klan of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and told everyone to pray in the name of Jesus?

What if they said they believe the Bible as long as it was translated correctly?

That all sounds Christian to me. You think?

I have read here on Y!A that "God wouldn't condemn what He created. He would never make what He calls an abomination."

One in 1,666 births, according to the intersex society of north america ( http://www.isna.org/faq/frequency ), do not have XX or XY chromosomes.

What of these folk... they are neither male or female. May they know love and marry? Are they, just as they were made, an abomination?

This person called me a hypocritical, intolerant jerk, and an idiot, and somehow seems to think that HE is the one that was wronged for no reason at all. What I said wasn't even insulting. What a truly wonderful email I received. NOT....

From: Darkspeed

Subject: hey

Message: "Yes it is. Because it isn't an answer. its also insulting that you decided to post that to someone just because they're a witch because you're treating them as though they're children."

Wow, what a hypocrite intolerant loser jerk you are. So Christians aren't allowed to use the Word of God, which is the basis for the religious code in order to explain why they treat others they way they do? Stupid idiot, what a stupid INSULTING idiot you are. Stop pestering people.

I think it has just caught up with me what I went through in the past few months, my son is away and I am by myself, all I do is cry, I have prayed to God but no answer, I fell very depressed, I am not going to do anything because I have to much to live for, but I feel all alone, and I need a blessing from God but nothing is happening

I cannot talk to anyone on the phone because I still have not got my voice back.

Can you suggest something I can do to get out of this depression, a verse from the Bible, anything?

made a good decision when they decided to accept evolution as a good scientific theory. I personally think they did. I think by giving people the ability to both believe in science and the bible at the same time, they are going to gain a lot more followers. I think a lot of people are getting very angry with the Baptist church and their hatred of science. I think the Baptist Church is making a very poor decision by opposing evolution. I think that by opposing science, they are pushing a lot of people away from the word of Christ. Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't Jesus tell us to bring people to his word, not push people away?????? I think that by accepting evolution, the Catholic Church is bringing many people to the word of Christ.

Atheists typically argue that the burden of proof lies squarely with the theists because they are the ones making the claim that a god exists. Theists, however, think that by rejecting the theist position, atheists also assume a burden of proof. Who is right?
The concept of a “burden of proof” is important in debates — whoever has a burden of proof is obligated to “prove” their claims in some fashion. If someone doesn’t have a burden of proof, then their job is much easier: all that is required is to either accept the claims or point out where they are inadequately supported.

So does the Church of Christ, the Church of God, Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses and many other denominations of Christianity. My question is: How come God answers the prayers of people in all these denominations if the people are in the wrong or false church?
