Why do I feel like this, please help me?

Question

I think it has just caught up with me what I went through in the past few months, my son is away and I am by myself, all I do is cry, I have prayed to God but no answer, I fell very depressed, I am not going to do anything because I have to much to live for, but I feel all alone, and I need a blessing from God but nothing is happening

I cannot talk to anyone on the phone because I still have not got my voice back.

Can you suggest something I can do to get out of this depression, a verse from the Bible, anything?

Oh dear...I know how you are feeling, I was sick for such a long time and when I was left alone, it was terrible...it is so depressing to be sick but you will get better...I did, so don't give up...and here is a prayer you might like...God bless you...I will keep you in my thoughts...

The Lord is our Sunshine ...for us to really grow we have the sunshine and the rain right sis? But after the rain the sun will shine again...It is never dark forever... Even the Morning star shines in the darkest hours before the dawn.. but hallelujah!! He is our dawn each day.. rising in our hearts in a fresh new way.

I was looking at this really encouraging verse in Romans 15 vss 4-5
" For the things that were written preciously were written for our instruction in order that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have HOPE

NOW the God of ENDURANCE and ENCOURAGEMENT grant you to be of the same mind toward one another according to Christ Jesus"

Sister .. we have a God of Endurance and Encouragement... He has given us the Word as love letters to give us hope in any situation. He has NOT left us to be taken advantage of by the enemy in our emotions. Our Lord is a man of sorrow and aquainted with grief and He knows how to shepherd our hearts to the still waters and the green pastures. When I get depressed my sister.. I just Call upon His sweet name... calling from my inner being and just let the tears wash over me... let my soul cry out and then He comes in with His loving words of Life and Peace to say" Let your soul be still" ..I AM here:)
Whatever you need the Lord to be is all there in His name..

The times I feel the most alone, I realize that He carries me. Jesus carries you, hon. You're never alone. God WILL answer you, believe it, but it may take some time. He will always give you what you need, but sometimes he does it in *his* time, not ours.

Yes. You are never alone because Jesus says that He will never abandon you. God loves you and He will comfort you. Be strong, trust Him. Reach out to others who need someone to be kind to them. That is the surest way to cure your own loneliness. I pray that God's love touch you today. Nothing can separate you from His love.

Maybe you just need to get some sleep, God's mercies are new every morning you know. There are a ton of good verses, but unless the Holy Spirit gives you a special illumination you can't read them like you can take some medicine you know. Here's some for you to consider.
