So does the Church of Christ, the Church of God, Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses and many other denominations of Christianity. My question is: How come God answers the prayers of people in all these denominations if the people are in the wrong or false church?

Maybe He's not honoring their religion but the faith they have in Him.

The Catholic church started out ok, but over time they have introduced much man made doctrine into their belief system. There are some Catholics who have not embraced all of the Catholic church's teachings and simply look to Christ Jesus for Grace and not the Pope or the Catholic church. I believe the Catholic church today is in judgment from God on how far they have strayed in their teachings of scripture. They are electing gay bishops and pedophilia and lawsuits are rampant. I believe if the Catholic church repents of it's man made doctrine and worldly practices, God will once again restore their church. This is why some Catholics have their prayers answered and some do not. Some worship at a Catholic church, but do not adhere to all the teachings of the Catholic church. God Bless You....Peace.

All denominations do not claim they are the only true church.

Usually its just the false cults which make that claim.

For example the Church of God based in Cleveland, Tenn does not make that claim and neither does the Church of God based in Anderson, Indiana.

Here is a list of about 50 good denominations, none of which claim to be the one and only true church.

The Catholic church has some claim, but it is all based on apostolic succession. The main issue here is that the succession was broken when the Apostles and Prophets were killed and Christianity basically went underground and into the dark ages. This was the great Apostasy that Christ spoke of.

Without this devine priesthood line the church has attempted over the years to remain in line with the teachings of Jesus Christ but has fallen to the whims of men and their unholy ways.

A connection is needed between men and God and that connection is a living prophet just as he has always had. If you can find the church that has a living prophet, 12 apostles, revelation, and is set up in the same manner as it was in ancient times under the direction of Jesus Christ then you will have the whole truth. Everything else only approaches truth and focuses on the splinters it has of the truth.

The Church of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth, there is a prophet on the earth today. There is only one God, one Religion, one Truth.

Hello there!

He had it correct when he said that there is ONLY ONE FAITH... But he has it wrong when he thinks it is his....

You have to understand the scriptures, and when you don't understand them you can not fall on the ole saying of "God works in mysterious ways" Today all to often when different ones go to their preacher or clergy with questions that they can not answer, their answer is the above. This simply is NOT true. There is an answer! Everything in the Bible is there for us and is for our understanding. You have to have faith, understanding, live your life with a Christ like personality, among many, many other things. One of the many things is that Jesus told us to go make disciples, this was a BIG thing. We are to let people know that soon God's Kingdom will bring about peaceful condtions. Soon war will be no more! So you see, while other denominations may think they are doing good, and doing all the above things, they are not doing one of the big major commands. They are not preaching, and for the few that do make an attempt to make some home visit, they do not try to make disciples. They do not try to REALLY teach them what the Bible says. God does hears the prayers of the ones who pray in the correct way. You have to have Faith, you need to pray through Jehovahs Sons name, Jesus. I say this, not trying to sound arrogant, or haughty, but with conviction.
I could add some more... but... I hope this clears some of this up...

Churches are creation of men. God doesn't care if you pray to him in church or in your room or in your car.

We are all HIS children, regardless of what we think, the bible says we are made to his image, it never mentions that we should be catholics, or mormon or witnesses, these special interest groups are more about money and power than they are about God. I would go as far as saying that they are using GOD as a tool to get us to participate in their rituals.

Any group that dont agree with the church can and some do start their own religion or church group. See the connection there,

What is the first thing a good church leader does, raises funds in the name of God.

If the Catholic Church is the One True Church it does not follow that the others are false and unnourishing. The CDF document calls other denominations"of significance and importance in the mystery of salvation...as instruments of salvation".

God answers prayers not because people are right and in the "in crowd" but because God is good, just, kind, loving and wise.

The Pope needs to read the Book of Revelation about the Church of Philadelphia. Jesus said this church is as good as the churches of this world get. The 7 churches of Revelation should be studied by every church in the world to determine if they are meeting the standards of Almighty God.

It's the usual deal. In the advanced, secular West the religions often try to be lovey-dovey to other religions (Catholics call this "ecumenism") but it's the gloved fist that ends up being exposed. Sooner or later they have to say that their religion is the best and it's the ONLY WAY, otherwise why be part of that religion and not someone else's? The usual STUPID, STUPID tribalism.

Next thing you know, Pope Benny is going to tell us that it's the Lord's will that choir-boys get raped so that priests don't need to commit the REAL sin of marrying women, so that they will have cosmically pure Virgin Energy to shine onto their congregations (i.e. flocks of sheep) every Sunday, the effulgent light aiding to light the way and cleanse sin. The Catholic hierarchy honestly thinks child-molesting is the lesser of two evils and besides, some priests end up LIKING it. A lot!

Jesus said narrow was the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. That eliminates the Catholic Church. see Mt. 7:13-14

How do you know prayers are answered? Sometimes things just happen.

All the Church's have stemmed from the Roman Catholic church... everybody is reading there books, because after 1,300 yrs. of rule they destroyed all the books they did not want.. The only books anyone could copy was the roman books, your choice, in Latin or Hebrew..The only other writings we have, have been found like the dead sea scrolls etc.etc.

The only thing that the Church's have changed had been word changes in the Bible and in their own customs and traditions.

Jesus was written in just about every religion in the world.
That is because Jesus' true ministry went into your religion or no religion.
