Do you know what each chakra repesents and the energy that is held there? What kinds of meditations do you do using your chakras?

My catholic wife fervently believes in St. Anthony as a finder of lost items. After searching everywhere she prays to him whenever she has lost something and darned if she doesn't find it.
Years ago I had lost my car keys and was desperately late for work. She suggested praying to St. Anthony and, as a last resort, I reluctantly said the prayer. I was standing alone in the kitchen and I distinctly heard a loud voice (not male nor female) say "look in the 2nd drawer from the refrigerator." I whirled around expecting to find someone in the room but I was alone. I looked in the drawer and there sat the keys that my toddler son had hidden.

I asked in history and I thought I would also ask in this section since some are very studied on religion...

I have a project I am involved in and have been given the job of researching this, but have found very little information so far. Any info or links on biblical era clothing would be greatly appreciated, and thank you in advance!

Lot's of anti-atheist "questions" tonight...

Over the last few hours, I've seen people accuse atheists of being "incapable of feeling love", "without morals", "rejects/nerds/emos/punks/goths", "heretics" and "devil worshippers".

I'd like a true opinion from a true believer: what is your position on people who either:
- Deny the existence of God
- Do not believe in the non-material existence of souls or in the afterlife.
- Do not believe there is actual proof that God exists

Are we all emotionless drones or tools of Satan to you?

I know to a lot of people 24 is really young, but so many people on here and people I know in real life that are my age either already have children or are pregnant. I am not married either but I do live with my boyfriend and we're in a committed relationship. i'm beginning to think I'm left out or behind for my age. The truth is, I do want children, right now would be great for me emotionally but not financially and my boyfriend doesn't want any right now. Also I have a strong desire to travel to foreign countries as I have just finished college and have also never seen the outside of the United States. But I am worried when I finally am financially ready and my boyfriend is ready financially and emotionally, and when I have done my traveling, that I will be too old. Also, this is a slightly different question, but: I also want to travel with my boyfriend but he doesn't have the means to. I dont either exactly, but I plan to do it anyway in the next year. Would it be okay to go alone?

This is one of God's laws:

Leviticus 18:19
'Also you shall not approach a woman to uncover her nakedness during her menstrual impurity .

Psalms 19:7
The law of the LORD is perfect, restoring the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple .

and

Psalms 119:160
The sum of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous ordinances is everlasting.

If we put this all together the Bible says that God's law is perfect and all his ordinances are FOREVER. If something is perfect it doesn't need adding to or taking away which is another command:

Deuteronomy 12:32
"Whatever I command you, you shall be careful to do ; you shall not add to nor take away from it.

The interesting thing is, I know MANY christians who say they believe the Bible and believe it is okay for a married couple to have sex on their period. I think it is messed up how those christians call people sexually immoral for commiting adultery when they are sexually immoral to.

I would like to respectfully (no judgement here) ask why we condemn people so much? Jesus Christ commanded that we not condemn others! One time I was in this bar. (I was in a backslidden state). This woman from my church was in the bar! She goes: You know better than to be in here drinking! I answered back like beavis and butthead "uhhhhhhhhhhhh your in a bar too!" It really disturbed me! I was so confused back then! I was like: What in the world is going on here? I have people talking about me behind my back. I go to the bar to get away from them. AND HERE THEY ARE!! Of course, I know there are alot of good christians out there that care about me and have a heart of Gold. My goal is to be the most caring person I can and to love God with everything in me. I believe God loves everyone! Even Atheists! He may not approve of what they do, but if they open the door, he will BE THERE!!!

I would like your honest opinion if you have ever been that person that had bad breath or the person who had to tell someone about their breath. How did you address that person? Do you take your toothbrush and toothpaste and brush after lunch? Or do you just pop in some gum and call it a fresh day?

I have a neighbor who does not own a TV or even a raido. She says both are tools of Satan. She only reads christian books and her Bible. She has only Christian CD's and tapes for music. I think she is a little overboard, She is living in a shell.I am a little worried about her. She does not go to Church but she is always studing her books and her Bible Nothing wrong with that but she is so isolated. Am I wrong?

The fossil record is an embarrassment to evolutionists. No verifiable transitions from one kind to another have as yet been found.

In an age of scientific enlightenment, it is incredible to think people are willing to maintain that something so vastly complex arose by chance.

While chance is a blow to the theory of evolution, the law of science are a bullet to its head. The basic laws of science, including the laws of effect and their causes---- energy conservation and entropy---undergird the creation model for origins and undermine the evolutionary hypotheisis. We must resist evolutionists who attempt to brainwash people into thinking that evolution is science.

Dr. Louis Bounoure, former director of research at the French National Center for Science Research, calls evolution "A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups"
