What in the world are pig lips or pork lips???

I live in northeastern Louisiana and pig lips and pork lips are exactly what they are. I wouldn't touch them, either, unless I'm about starved to death.

From Louisiana and they are the lips from the pig. Usually picked in big ol jars. We also have pigs feet :)
