You see I find myself wondering what peoples problems are...Blaming, hating, profiling. Brotherhood is lost in this world. We blame blame blame and point fingers, and instead of seeing with our hearts we see with our burt eyes. If your inteligent enough to understand what im talking about why dont you tell me why there are so many racist, unforgiving, hatefull people in this world, and tell me why we are so stupid as to not see our own obliteration right in front of our eyes!?

i am a believer of god. i read the bible, i pray, i love god and know hes my father. but sometimes, like when im watching the discovery channel or something, and i see how the world was made and all that jazz, i sometimes question my own beliefs. is that bad? am i allowed to do that? i feel bad afterwards for ever judging or questioning God. but sometimes i cant help it.

So much of the time, it is quite easy for us as humans to laugh or make fun of someone who's beliefs are different from our own. I ask you to please examine your views and search, with an open mind, for the one true God. You don't have to believe, but surely your eternal destiny (or what lies beyond death) is something that should be of utmost importance to you. You don't want to be wrong when your time comes, so I encourage you to open your eyes to the possibility that you may not hold the truth.

Is that group the only group who will be saved? What if you study from more than one version? Are you contradicting your faith? Why do modern day translators have so much trouble with translations of things such as... advertising slogans? If human beings can't properly decipher the intent and nuance of the foreign language advertising slogan of someone who wrote it just yesterday, how can we think translations of thousand-odd year old writings from another culture have been translated correctly?

The local Walmart apparently hires disabled people. Well it has one young lady in a wheelchair that basically sits there beside the entrance. It appears that they just stick her there and thats about all her "job" amounts to. She does NOT look happy, in fact she looks really po'd. I want to say "its nice they hire the disabled" but come on, cant they do better than this? A "token" disabled person in a wheelchair parked by the entrance so customers can see her ? IMO this is WORSE than not hiring the disabled - what do y'all think? Why cant she be working in customer service or something, she is physically disabled NOT mentally disabled, man this sucks big time IMO.

"We hire the disabled but we dont really "hire" them to actually work for us because we dont believe they are capable of being more than a token. But it makes us look good."

Just wondering..and also do all sports people not really like "girly "things or what? Tell me how you feel about this...if you are sporty person and play sports !
My step-daughter sort of doesn't like girly things but also does...(but, not all of the time,.) but, there are some people that I have met that are really not into " girly " items,..and I have not known exactly what to say to them or how to talk to them as well.(not that I am really "girly girly" because truthfully I am more like 50/50!) Sometimes I am more so..and sometimes I could care less...but, I have always wondered this..as I have never quite fit in with the other girls when I was growing up..so that is why I ask this!
I am not a "sporty" person, but, I do like some sports like swimming..cross-country skiing, hiking, walking, playing basket ball, snowtubing, biking, to name a few. But, I am NOT what I would call a "fanatical sports person" either...I just do these things because I enjoy doing them!
that's all!

You always say without a shadow of a doubt, so I assume you know what a shadow of a doubt looks like.. What does it look like? Is it big? Small? Square? Round? Are you sure that Doubts actually have shadows? Usually shadows are created by things that are blocking the suns rays.. Are your doubts so big and strong that they cast shadows that you can then contrast and compare in your testimony?

I really can't explain why it angers me, it just does. My whole family is infatuated with antiques and I think it's a load of garbage. A spoon worth $6000? give me a break, it doesn't even provide the function it was intended? a char worth $4000 but you can't sit down in it after a long day of work?

I understand that history and culture play a part in the value to an extent but come on. Be realistic. I can understand a gun from a war, or something.

This sort of attitude clutters houses with junk that will never be let go.

I'm not trying to offend people who do this sort of thing for a living, but I think some of it is blown way out of proportion

What is the purpose of God? I mean the purpose of an animal is to live and defend its self from harm. The purpose of some humans is to live a good christian life so that we get to heavan, some other peoples purpose is to make as much money as possible and indulge in everything sinful or not.
But my question is why is God here? He isn't here because of us, because we wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him. IDK if you understand what I'm asking please post an answer. I'll keep watching the question and posting more details if I have a response to one of your answers.

It is my understanding from reading the Old Testament that the “Messiah” will be of the lineage of King David, and that King David was from the lineage of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. If this is true then why do people say that Jesus was a Jew instead of a Hebrew? If he is a descendant of Judah instead would that not mean that he is not the “Messiah” as was prophesied since he is not of the lineage of King David?

Just check this link http://www.countercurrents.org/us-sikand171105.htm - a few findings inspire as much "terror" in my heathen heart as any Al-Qaida suicide bomber - here are the main themes of this article

1. They believe Iraq War is "God's sanction" against Muslims and Arabs (in their own homelands) - Pres. Bush has a "personal communication" with God.

2. They won't stop here - after Iraq, they want to dominate the whole world as part of a "Pax Americana" - White American and Zionist civilization to dominate Earth - as part of

"Jesus Christ arrival" and all sinners, heathens and pagans will be destroyed.

Jesus, they believe, will return to the world to rule only once the Jews have 'returned' to Palestine and have rebuilt the temple of David that was destroyed almost two thousand years ago. After this event, many Jews will convert to Christianity and those who refuse to will be sent to hell.

So many LOONIES in your backyard and we call it "WAR ON TERROR"

Why does every statistic I examine indicate that
a) the bible belt has a high divorce rate
b) the bible belt has a high incidence of STDs
?

Shouldn't we by rights expect almost zero divorces and zero STDs in a majority-christian population? Does it look like that abstinence stuff is working, or does it look like it is having the opposite effect?

Two people are talking, one of them says something that the other takes as an attack on their beliefs and/or values (not a personal attack) and becomes defensive and even hostile.

Why do people do this, why it that when someone asks a question or makes a statement that asks a question of someone’s belief system that they become hostile instead of cool calm and collected, and asking for clarification?

Why do people instantly believe they others are attacking their beliefs? Are these people so unsure of their own beliefs that they attack out of fear or is it something else?

Please explain what you mean.

Serious answers only please.

Thanks.
