I'm white but I don't know about delightsome.

My children are not white, and are totally delightsome.

I work in an environment were I am a minority. I enjoy showing that reference to my co-workers (both editions) and let them come to their own conclousions. Oh, I provide a few of the inspired talks given by 'never lead you astray' Elders McConkie, Peterson, F Smith, Benson, plus portions of Doctrines of Salvation.

I point out that this all continued right up to the summer of 78, when the church was concerned about it's 'black eye'.

Then I tell them it was all a hoax by a white yankee dope in New York looking to make some bucks a babes, and what we like to call our little "White Lie".

Amazingly there was little sympathy for Smith or his church.

I used to be white and delightsome, but in 1981, I wanted to portray myself as non racist, so I changed it to pure and delightsome.

That is just one of the many shamefull things stricken from present-day LDS doctrine. You can't fault the revisers, as their book is man-made baloney, created by a scheming charlatan scammer, pedophile, polygamist....who promised godhood and life on another planet. Shamefull!!!! and ridiculous.
