I'm sending a package with glasses to Germany. I would like to write Fragile on the package, but also in German, just in case. Thanks!!!

Just bear in mind all pedigree dogs will be more expensive than cross breeds. I've only had experiences with German shepards & collies. Collies vary the most but they're mainly highly intelligent dogs who need a lot of mental and physical stimulation everyday. Shepards also need this physical and mental exercise otherwise they can get quite 'mouthy'. Both breeds have a very soft side and are extremely loyal breeds. With a lot of time and persistence, they can both be fantastic pets! The key is exercise!! I know you we're asking about costs etc... Just going back to my first point about pedigrees being more expensive than crossbreeds. What I mean is that crossbreeds don't seem to get the problems that some pedigrees do, or at least not as early on. Some are inherited problems and some are more common like arthritis (usually earlier in larger breeds). But don't let this put you off, if the dog has annual vet visits, given the right nutrition and exercise then you have nothing to lose!

fragile means zerbrechlich in German.
But in your situation what you would most likely read on German packages is "Vorsicht Glas" with a little picture of a glass beside it.

As others have put it correctly it is ZERBRECHLICH
Maybe you can get one of those "GLASS - FRAGILE" stickers that have the words printed and show kind of a wine glass on it. Those stickers are recognized everywhere in the world even if the language the words are printed is a different one.
