Jews are Hebrews.
Better yet Jews are observers of Judaism and Hebrew are descendants of a man named Heber (the great-great-great grandfather of Abraham, father of the Jews).
Judah is one of the 12 great-grandsons of Abraham.
King David was from the tribe of Judah--which means he was a descendant of Judah's children.
Jesus comes from way down the lineage of King David, that is why he is called the Lion of Judah.
And now you know. Boy, that was easy.

JED:
The word "Hebrew" is a word that can mean for one thing, "a person or follower of God" , such was the case of the Israelites. Yes; Jesus was a "Jew" because He descended from the lineage of the tribe of Judah - the "royalty" tribe. Jesus is refereed to in the Book of Revelation, of the Bible, as "King of kings". Even, Pontius Pilot had a sign nailed to Jesus' cross, which stated, that He [Jesus] was "the king of the Jews". No doubt about it. Jesus was both, the Messiah and a "Jew" - of the lineage of the very same tribe where King David was from - the Tribe of Judah.

Abraham & his descendants were first called Hebrews. After God renamed Jacob to Israel and established the 12 tribes from 10 sons & 2 grandsons, Abraham's descendants also became known as the children of Israel.(Israelites). The tribe of Judah and the small tribe of Benjamin, however, remained as the Southern Kingdom known as Judea. After Judea fell to the Babylonians and the people were taken into exile, they became known as the Judah-ites and the religion they practiced, Judah-ism. Eventually all Abraham's descendants became generally known by the name of the largest remaining tribe (Judah) and the name was shortened to Jews.
I wish I could show you a family tree here. You would see that Jacob had 12 sons. His 4th (by Leah) son is Judah. As best I can determine, born between 1928--1915 BC. Then years & years pass and David is born, 1040 BC. Again, years & years pass and then Jesus, Messiah is born,5-6 BC. (all in the lineage of Judah, Jacob, Abraham, Terah, Eber, Shem & Noah.)
Hope this clarifies and is helpful to you.

Jews ARE Hebrews. All Hebrews weren't Jews, but all Jews were Hebrews.
David was a Hebrew who descended from the line of Judah. Please read Genesis 49 and note the promise to Judah.
It seems like you got it crossed up somewhere. Judah was a son of Jacob who was later named Israel.

So, you want us to answer questions about His lineage without referring to where His lineage is described? Very generous of you.
The term "Jew" is not all that specific in it's use now, nor was it then. It refers to members of a culture as well as members of several closely related religions. (And yes, more than one form of Judaism is still practiced to this very day...even though we would call all of them Jews.)
The word "Hebrew" isn't much better...it applies to a group of related languages, any of the various Semitic peoples of the world, and is frequently used interchangeably with the term "Jew".
People say a lot of things about Jesus, (just look around R&S) and many of them are wrong. Even those who spend years studying the Bible will still disagree on many points. None of this changes who Jesus was or what He did.

The term "Jew" is synonymous with "Hebrew." In greco-roman times Palestine was called Judea and the name of its inhabitants who followed the Abrahamic religion were thus called "Jews", irrespective of what tribe of Israel they descended from.
