Ah you are getting all the only "it is only adaptation" excuses. Well it does have one factor come up that Creationists syas can't happen - they have said that new genes are not created. Well there is a new gene in thae butterfly's makeup.
And just becuase Darwin said evolution is slow isn't then throwing out evolution when something like this happens - Earwin is not the sole originator of evolutionary science, and is not the last work in it. As more tools are available scientists better understand it and have corrected and added some things - Thats essentially what Darwin was doing himself - building on ideas and science that came before him.
As far as evolution has to be an animla turning in to another animal - well that is only apparant after many generations. Or if you want to look at it that way - this is a butterfly that adapted in to a different butterfly. And we are apes that just adapted in to different apes.

I in basic terms study that piece. there is in basic terms thank you to lots hypothesis, too lots assumption. I advise permit's take this variety at speculate that between 6 and 10 million years, and assuming that, etc., etc., etc. i'm going to even guess which you do not even recognize a million/2 of what's stated there. you're in basic terms believing it in faith. technological wisdom is wisdom, that had not something to do with wisdom. the maths is cool, something is in basic terms because it is going to continuously stay. A concept. great pictures formed from vivid imaginations. Very eloquent writing, that is extremely hypnotic like a individual with a neat accessory. Then we upload the hundreds of thousands and hundreds of thousands of years, from time to time billions, and poof - i'm going to be a monkey's uncle. C'mon, i will inform you're lots, lots smarter than this.

Let me know when scientists start calling it the "Law of Evolution". Until then the premise of your statement that evolution is PROVEN is false. Even scientists don't consider it proven, although admittedly most accept is as the most likely answer.
Oh, and killing of a segment of the population so that the ones left behind tend to share certain characteristics isn't evolution. If humans intentionally kill off every black cat that's born for the next 20 years eventually there won't be any more black cats born...but that isn't evolution. Black cats with eyes in the back of their heads so they can avoid death....now that would be evolution.

The only relevant facts are those printed in a book written by men over a thousand years ago... What would lead you to think that any advances could be made in such a short time?

I can't believe there are people stupid enough to think that evolution is a lie. Part of evolving is also adapting to the environment around you. How can anyone deny raw facts and evidence. People that can't except what's real have serious problems. What is so wrong with believing in the logical facts of life, is someone like myself wrong, or bad because they believe in proven facts.

You only have to look at our pets to see that.
It isn't quite their point. Deliberately ignoring their point doesn't help your argument. It just makes you look silly.
I love the post. Great to know. I'm not religious.
One day I hope we know the truth (probably take time travel to give evolution sufficient deductive proof to show that we evolved from other primates, but it IS the best scientific theory we have).
I just wish the Darwinists (those who use evolution as a club to try to disprove God, an unscientific and unAmerican pursuit if ever there was one) would realize that no patriot who prizes our Constitution is going to let them abolish freedom of religion. We just aren't going that path.

Cats don't turn into dogs. They are two different species. Evolution happens when a species developes over time to get past obstacles. For example, the webbing between our fingers, our long feet, and our lack of hair are signs that we are developing aquatic features, and we are a species that spends alot of time in the water.

And this proves "what ?" WE evolved from BACTERIA ourselves ? You may be RIGHT "some" of us may have evolved in such a way since many who get on R&S try so hard to discedit the wisdom of the holy with the most ridiculous retarded assumptions of which leads me to believe that they ARE nothing more than infectous "bacteria" we need to find a vaccine for ...............

Yeah and it utterly refutes Darwin. Darwin specifically said Evolution must be a slow process.
And the article is extremely short. Does the butterfly actually turn into a swallow or a pigeon? Or does it just slightly adapt? I believe things can adapt. If I move to Hawaii I will get used to the heat, if I move to Alaska I will get accustomed to that. But I will not father a totally separate species.

Watch for the "microevolution" dodge. The Creationists will turn to this evasion, despite the fact that the mechanisms of evolution are well characterized, but there is no mechanism to limit it despite their claims.
