Just check this link http://www.countercurrents.org/us-sikand171105.htm - a few findings inspire as much "terror" in my heathen heart as any Al-Qaida suicide bomber - here are the main themes of this article

1. They believe Iraq War is "God's sanction" against Muslims and Arabs (in their own homelands) - Pres. Bush has a "personal communication" with God.

2. They won't stop here - after Iraq, they want to dominate the whole world as part of a "Pax Americana" - White American and Zionist civilization to dominate Earth - as part of

"Jesus Christ arrival" and all sinners, heathens and pagans will be destroyed.

Jesus, they believe, will return to the world to rule only once the Jews have 'returned' to Palestine and have rebuilt the temple of David that was destroyed almost two thousand years ago. After this event, many Jews will convert to Christianity and those who refuse to will be sent to hell.

So many LOONIES in your backyard and we call it "WAR ON TERROR"

I brought this question to ask why people HATE Muslims everytime a bomb conspiracy is unearthed like it happened in the UK recently. Most Muslims I know are very moderate, peaceful and friendly and

"I would take a 10,000 moderate Muslims, Christians whatever over ONE single zealot as above."

Why can't we put George Bush and Bin Laden in the same bracket? There is not much difference in their ideologies and ambitions?

Looking at the answers of CJ and Proud Muslimah, I wish the world would be much better off when it's under Buddhism, Hinduism, Paganism, Nature worship and all those non-violent faiths. Truly, the Abrahamaic faiths need to undergo revision - we cannot function in the 21st century with such violent ideas

I agree with you that the Abrahamic religions must seriously reconsider themselves. All three of them are completely out of touch with the rest of the world and humanity. The bigotry, hate an violence that all three these religions teach is disturbing to say the least. All kinds of extremism is dangerous.
For those such as CJ & Proud Muslimah, you are arguing the matter out of a Christian viewpoint. Do you think that the bible doesn't have verses such as that? Must I quote them for you? Show you where god ordered women to be raped, enemies of the religion to be killed, including women and children, etc.? I wish more people who are religious would rather adhere to the more peaceful ones such as Phoenix mentioned.

Cultures are what really rule actions. In backward societies those with differing opinions quickly resort to violence. In more civilised countries political debate takes place and individuals are generally well educated and socialised enough to control themselves. On a national level some countries are badly run and have a persecution complex. Others are arrogant and think they have the right to interfere with the affairs of others who may threaten their economic supremacy. Faith? Few people really try. How many go to worship and break the speed limit on the way home to fiddle their tax return. What a farce.

Thank God that we have freedom of religion in the United States so that we loony fundamentalists can practice our beliefs even if they don't earn the approval of you "moderates." What is so moderate about someone who is so arrogant as to decide who is loony and who isn't. Are all fundamentalists blowing up buses and trains? Was it Christian or Jewish fundamentalists who flew jets full of terrified passengers into office buildings on 9/11? Your beef is with one particular set of fundamentalists. Funny thing, that's the president's beef in taking on muslim terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan. I guess you must be a Republican.

There are far too many people out there with delusions! A lot of these delusions are religiously motivated and some are just common or garden nutters. lets not make distinctions here! These people hold political power, have the vote and many own guns. We should be very afraid!

No radical Christians are as risky as radical muslims. "fundamentalist" should be added back to what it easily ability. A Christian "fundamentalist" does not kill human beings. A Christian "fundamentalist" would carry to the ten commandments and the added teachings of Christ.

Your comparison of Bush and Bin Laden is ludicrous. Bush never ordered the unprovoked attack on innocent civilians worldwide. Bush does not send out bombers to kill others because they differ from his religious beliefs.

You have a distorted view of Christianity, and certainly have no knowledge of the Qu'ran and what it tells it's followers to do. Islam commands that all non-Muslims be killed, and they are referred to as "infidels". Christianity nor Judaism orders such things!

Learn the facts, then you won't make such absurd comments.
