I think that it's interesting that Jesus knew of different time zones. When Jesus spoke of the rapture, He said two shall be in the field, one shall be taken and the other left. He also said, that it would be midnight when the bridegroom comes. Jesus knew that some areas it would be night and other areas it would be day. I think Jesus knew that the earth was much bigger than known at that time and that there were different time zones.

for the father in heaven owns heaven and only by his hand can heaven be given away. The lord alows you to mate with out heaven as long as you are married but if you are not married he will throw you in hell for going your own way, but why would you not want heaven? 1 John 2:15-16.

15. Love not the world, neither the things THAT are in the world. IF an man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16. For all that is in the world the lust of the FLESH, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Seek ye FIRST the kingdom of God and his righousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.

Would it mean that someone was incapable of receiving the answer, and only interested in spreading hate and fear? And if the topic was about parents, or parenting, and that someone was asking these questions in the baby section, would that mean that they were simply trying to aggressively force their point onto others that were indifferent to their poisioned point of view, and not willing to feed them the response they so desperately crave?

Let's say that in the US religion became illegal, and you could no longer work, buy, or sell, if you did not reject Christ. That all of your worldly possessions would be taken and that you could be beaten or tortured for refusing to take a mark.

Do you think that you could remain faithful to God if it meant that you would not survive?

What would you do?

A.A. doesn't proselytize, but instead draws people in by attraction. (Granted, some judges require DWI offenders to attend.)

A.A. says "There but for the grace of God go I" when they see someone who's fallen off the wagon.

A.A. doesn't dictate behavior. It even welcomes non-believers.

A.A. has special programs for gay people, but gay people are welcome at every meeting.

A.A. sees each person's individual growth as paramount, not the finger-wagging often heard from the pulpit.

A.A. teaches humble acceptance of life on life's terms, not dictating to other people how they should behave.

And A.A. would never try to tell the government to outlaw alcohol.

What prevents the Christian Church from using this as a model of faith instead of the fire-and-brimstone approach?

I mean... Atheists are always preaching "science" and "logic" to christians.
Well how about this atheists.... The Bible was there first! The Bible was written thousands of years before your "science" and your "renaissance" and so on.

The holy men that were the vessels of our Lord's word that wrote the Bible had never heard of science, or logic, or anything your atheistic Godless religion teaches. But the point is that IT IS God's word... Therefore the REAL science is in the Bible!

You atheists talk about Charles Darwin! But he wasn't inspired by God!!! He merely used science and logic and observation to discover his so called "evolution". But the Bible was written thousands of years ago before any modern science was invented, AND it was inspired by God, and it was still able to tell us how we came to be on Earth! With no science or logic at all!!! Explain that, you silly atheists.

If you actually read the Bible, you might understand that logic has no place in religion.
