1) What is God, what is love?
2) i dont understand, why would christians be afraid of showing they were christian? i can see how non-christian people would be afraid to show that they werent christian, but not the other way around

okay. so im 18 and a female. and im not sure if im a lesbian ..i mean how to you know? yeah, im attracted to girls but i havent dated one yet. I havent dated a guy yet either. Its not that i havent been asked out(byguys), cause i have it just that dating a guy doesn't sound that appealing. I mean ive had my share lesbian crushes..havent we all?lol. So im confused like i could totally see myself with a chick over a guy. Yet i can never tell if a chick is gay or not aside from the butchy ones. Anyways, what do you guys think..Lesbian or confused? Truth be told i'd pick a chick over a guy anyday..it just seems so hard to meet other lesbians that i sorta veer towards guys. I am also a christian so its way hard for me.


Also, i think im being flirted with my one of my female co-workers but im not sure if shes gay. she seems straight. But shes very touchy more with me then my other co-workers. But when she does i cant flirt back i get like stuck! lol. any advice for that too?

But no one's opinion no matter how immflametory can be removed. This is the internet. Not kindergarten. I someone's views make you mad...suck it up and go else where.

For example, if God is "the prime mover" doesn't that mean that everything that happens and exists is so because of God?

Once I heard the definition of "responsibility" is based on the "ability to respond." If God is all-powerful, doesn't that imply that God is able to repsond to all things?

Here are a few interesting examples that people usually don't think about:

* God allows the torment of Job. God shouldn't have anything to prove to Satan, but he lets Satan torture a good person anyway. For what? All-powerful implies no need for more of anything.

* God throws Satan to Earth to rule Earth. Who is responsible for Satan's rule over Earth? Did it ever need to happen? Could it be stopped at any moment? Why not now?

Don't get me wrong. I don't feel particularly angry or sad about this, but I am curious about God's motives and accountability. Who keeps track of God's sins?

Why do you crowd the religion forum? This forum is used so people can have a deeper view on their beliefs. They can seek advice from those wiser then themselves, yet so many atheists come here just to trample on mine and other Yahoo member's faiths. Please don't misunderstand me, atheists here to learn more about Christ and how to be happy have every right to be here, but the fools who keep insulting other members religions should leave.

my fiance and i are wiccan and we are getting married next july. we are having a wiccan ceremony. my fiance's cousin is devout lutheran. a little background first. before the cousin got married, her mother in law would not allow the marriage unless she (the cousin) agreed not to let their future kids celebrate halloween. so, with that in mind, do we need to tell the cousin upfront that we are having a wiccan ceremony or not. if so, how? fyi, we were also told that she would not attend if there wasnt going to be a minister present (which there is).

Around the turn of the century due to legal pressure they dropped polygamy.

Due to the culture becoming more accepting of blacks they allowed blacks into the priesthood

I am guessing next will be allowing women to receive the priesthood. What do you think?

After the pope's comments the other day, I would like to know how he can make such a claim. I was raised Catholic, but left and go to an Assemblies Of God church where I have learned more about the Bible and how to live my life as a Christian. The more I have learned and read the bible, the more I realized the amazing claims of the Catholic church to be totally unbiblical. So I would like to hear from those who could shed some light on this for me. Thank You

Are they complexed about being short or do they feel that they are drawing from the tall man's height? Even when they get older they still remain the same. Maybe they just dislike their shortness so much that they don't like to see it on anyone else.
