If anybody knows whether or not you're a lesbian, it would be you. Are you exclusively romantically attracted to women? If the answer is "yes", then you're a lesbian. That seems to be the case. If another girl is acting flirty, then she's probably flirting. That's how you tell. Unless you're attracted to another girl, you probably wouldn't pick up on it as "flirting".

Judging by what you have said, most likely you do prefer women over men, and are a lesbian. But as everyone has said, it is something that you will know for certain once you delve into yourself.
For me, I didn't really even realize that I might go that way until someone pointed out I had a crush on a friend of mine, another female, or at least that I acted like it.
For a long time I muddled in my mind, thinking of varied things. Guys make me uncomfortable as a general rule, women don't. Sex was never a large factor for me, so that only played a very small part in my thinking habits.
As I continued, I realized that I wanted to be near that person, to touch them, and to know them more intamately. I also noticed that I thought more often 'I want to kiss her' than I would think 'I want to kiss him' when looking at men and women.
You'll know if you're straight, bi or a lesbian; And when you do, take pride in yourself reguardless, and look for happiness :)

it sounds more on the side of lesbian. however i can't make that decision for you.
Have you ever seen "But I'm a Cheerleader?" you sound just like that. watch it if you haven't it is a good movie.
Anyways the only way to find girls that are gay are by going places lesbians go. Find a LGBT community and you will find a slew of people there.
As far as the co-worker ask her questions when she is flirting and you will find out. However, i don't recommend dating someone you work with, it could end up nasty.
Good luck and if you ever need to talk e-mail me.
don't listen to Gary G or the one above me, they are nothing and like to get a rise out of people.

You seem lesbian to me. If you're interested in your coworker when she's being touchy you can ask if she's hitting on you (in a playfull manor of course) and she might tell you yes or no and if she says yes you could always go on a date with her. Of course if she says no you can just say you were just joking or whatever if you're insecure about the matter.
I know when I see a cute girl I'll always be a little flirty with her just to put a smile on her face she might be pulling that on you~ :3
On your religious point you can always do a little thinking about your beliefs. When I thought about religion back when I was I thought to myself what kind of god wouldn't want you to be happy? I don't really believe in god anymore but theres nothing stopping you from still believing even though you're gay. The way I see it, society spews what a real god would be. Whatever your image of god this person's all about forgiveness am I right? :3
Good luck I hope everything turns out all right for you :3

You need to start dating to know who you really are.
As for me, I know I am gay when I am only 9. I only have crushes towards girl. I can date a man but I prefer woman. I don't date butch cos it feels like dating a man.
I am not a butch, i am feminine. I am a woman who loves woman. That's me.
There are many different type of lesbians.. so don't bother labeling. just be yourself.
As for your co worker.. just be friends first. If she really likes you, she will show more as time past.
Good luck

Not every woman has had lesbian crushes, which makes me think that you're at least bi, if not outright gay (is it okay to use that word for a woman?).
If you're sexually attracted to a woman who is also attracted to you, and you build a relationship, I'd say go for it. Ignore the bigots.
The reason I suggest building a relationship before getting intimate is that your first experience should be a good one, with someone for whom you care, and who cares about you.

I have a simple litmus test. In order to be lesbian girl stuff needs to turn you on. Imagine pressing your nose into the crotch of a beautiful woman and inhaling her scent. If that smell turns you on then you would definately be bi at least.

You're a lesbian. I should know, I'm bi. Ask your co-worker if she ever went out with guys before. If no, then... I'm sure you can figure out the rest.

It seems like your letting all your influences tell you to be gay. It is a choice. Maybe you do not remember the first influence that made you consider being attracted to the same gender, but there was a first influence. It really helps to overcome this if you can remember and own it. As a Christan, some will try and say the Bible does not talk about monogamous homosexuals living a Christan life, but as a former homosexual, I have decided to love God more than my sexual desires. It is your choice. Here is a website that was written about pornography, but you can use it to help overcome homosexuality as well, it is a mind issue now. http://www.ilovejesus.com/befree/pnarticle.html
