There's another kind that's smaller and goes just around the penis, like a tighter rubber band. This is a device to aid if you wish to have an erection longer or have problems with erectile dysfunction. If you do not have erectile dysfunction I recommend not using these much because it could lead to a mental block causing erectile dysfunction if you get used to it. Basically if you get used to having something external to maintain your erection you may forget that you can do it naturally.

It's usually used to lighten down stimulation while having sex so that you may go at it longer. If I were you, I would go and buy one... why take the risk of something hand made? Anyways... the substance used is a lot more relaxing and less sensitive to your penis.
