I have just recently came out...and My Confidence seems to be increasing. When you came out, did this sort of thing happen to you? I have become more outgoing and much more happy with myself....Its just cool!!!

I know lots of folks who have found this to be the case. I don't belive anyone can really live a full life if they feel they have to hide some aspect of their being.

It takes a lot of strength to make this decision...there are risks associated with it....but once you make it, it does give you such a lift.

I haven't come out to my family yet, but around my friends, I feel a lot more confident.

I have not "come out" yet. But every time I imagine in in my head it makes me feel a boost of confidence.

Yes indeed. I was much more comfortable with myself, and it greatly increased my self confidence. I'm much happier being "Out". Congratulations.

The same thing happened with me. I realized that it was because I was learning to live my life for myself and not living my life on what I thought was expected of me by others.

I started by telling one person and it has grown to more since then and the confidence is there and helps you tell even more people

i haven't come out yet, but i can't wait until i do, because i know that i would be so much happier with who i am, and i can just imagine the confidence and self-esteem that will come along with it.

Yes it's the best isn't it :) I haven't felt myself more then since I came out (almost a year ago).
