I notice when I drive, if I see a bird coming towards me I tend to always want to duck down and even catch myself doing it.
I do this while logically knowing that the bird most likely isnt going to fly through the windshield and attack me.
Do you have expereinces where your perception defies logic..and what is your reaction when you catch yourself in this mode of action/thinking?
What this has to do with RS is up for you to decide.

And while I am at it should I send a big shout out to Julia...my stalker for the day!! Yippie go Julia!

I know there are extraordinary situations in which killing oneself is the lesser of two evils (as in one is going to die anyway and due to unbearable pain wants to choose the time of their departure, or people in the WTC buildings who jumped rather than be burned or crushed or torn apart), but besides that, is killing oneself a sane thing to do?

And to make it appropriate for this section: was Jesus sane when he heard the voice of God (or himself, for those who subscribe to Trinity theology) telling him that he had to allow himself to die a gruesome, torturous death in order to "save" mankind? Wouldn't a sane person have said "God/Me, that doesn't make any sense. Why the blood sacrifice? Couldn't you/I just pick a daisy and then proclaim that by picking the daisy, all their sins are forgiven?"

everyone has a moral code no matter if one believes in a god or doesnt???
morality is a philosophical concept rather than religious.
morality is based more on background, history and education than on religious beliefs.
Let me just remind religious people that no so long ago, christians accepted racism as a normal thing (black people not allowed in places just for white people) and i think that your religion was exactly the same as it is today.
Moral codes evolve and adjust depending on the historical moment so it is not an exclusive domain of religion.

The God's and Goddesses in Hindu are forms or expressions of the one God. Christianity also has 3 forms of one God. Islam, again, one God. Jewish one God. There are common points between the religions of the West and the East. Most Atheists I know also adhere to the golden rule. Is it possible we are all the same inside? At the very least human? And should treat each other with tolerance, respect, love, and help one another whenever possible? Agree?

ok, Let me explain this more simply for the slower ones. When you don't have a perfect deity to set moral standards and make laws, you end up deciding what is morally right and what is morally wrong yourself. Correct? yes, ok So therefore Atheism guns it self down whether you claim to be a deity or not, you automatically do it yourself, thus becoming what you hate. Wiccans, your little demons for gods, have to do little tricks to please you, like floating tables and giving dates of death, My God created your existence and there's. So here's my point. Tell me on whatever terms you want, Why the Bible is wrong. I want specifics, not the crap you have been answering with lately. And for the idiots out there asking how old I am. I am 16, in High school.

Are you less tired or maybe you find yourself starting to sleep more.

Do you feel more intuitive? or out of sorts?

Do you have a feeling of impending excitement or extrme sadness.

We might be embarking on out bodies changing DNA to adapt to the new changes in the world and what is to come..

For me I feel so much more intuitive and a nagging feeling that we are on the brink of something major, it's a natural feeling when meditating on GOD and my inner self.

What about you?

Personally I define it as taking a course of action when more than one feasible course of action is available to be taken.

How do you define it?

Is there ALWAYS choice involved in everything we do or are there instances in which a course of action must be taken because no other viable options were available?

Oh, and to make this question applicable to this section: if you "know" Hell exists and that you MUST acknowledge Jesus as your salvation in order to be spared eternal torment, can you really say you "chose" to accept Jesus as your savior, or must you say that Hell, at least for any SANE person, was never a viable option to begin with and that accepting Jesus was your only available course of action?

When I tell people I am a Witch, their first response is usually to cringe and then find an escape route. I believe this is due to ill education about my religion, but I would like some opinions.

I don't care if you are atheist, agnostic, Christian, Wiccan, Buddhist, or anything else.

If those of you who feel the need could refrain from comments like, "I will pray for you," I would appreciate it. Praying for me because I have an alternate religion is nonsensical. Praying for me because I have an issue that needs resolving is a reason to pray for me.

He granted immortal life of his followers through baptism.

A quote about him "He who will not eat of my body and drink of my blood, so that he will be made on with me and I with him, the same shall not know salvation."

Where in scriptures does it say that babies automatically go to heaven because they haven't reached the so called "age of accountability" ? The word accountability isn't even in the bible!
The Bible is VERY clear about who gets into Heaven and who doesn't: John 3:3: "...no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."
John 3:15: "...everyone who believes in him [Jesus] may have eternal life."
John 14:6: "Jesus answered: 'NO ONE comes to the Father except through me'"
Children, from conception, are sinners. And scripture says that an unsaved sinner cannot enter heaven. In God’s word this is immutable and unchangeable. Our emotions do not enter the equation. Read scripture and see the true state of babies – God does not see the age of a person who dies. He only sees their state. Children are sinners from conception therefore, they do not go to heaven. No one goes to heaven without Christ and the bible gives no exceptions at all. Deal with it. He is God.
