You really had me going until the "even if they know now what they do" statement.. it's that one right there that nullifies the entire thought with condescension.

Who are you to say that your path is the right one? you have no evidence that your savior ever even existed on this earth.. the god portrayed in that bible is at best, megalomaniacal, and at worst, sociopathic, and the inconsistencies abound within those texts.. yet, we know not what WE do?

I'm sorry but this is the reason why I can't accept this message. When you can get to the point of saying "I love you and accept that you may just have as much truth as I do" let me know.

Well, I'm a former Christian, so I wager I qualify to reply. The challenge is partially that many Christians don't feel there may be the sort of factor as a well witch. But you could have already gotten solutions demonstrating that. The more thing is the level to which any one, whether or not a member of a few different faith or now not, who isn't a Christian is condemned by means of essentially the most conservative Christians, and a goal for proselytizing by means of some of the relaxation. To them, you're a nasty individual only for now not being a Christian. Having the extra thought that you're worshiping the satan, or no less than a few pagan gods and/or goddesses, makes you eligible for condemnation as evil and probably even lead them to remorse they not have the vigour to burn you on the stake with out uncomfortable penalties. Have a satisfactory day!

Yes. This world needs love, and if you simply hate them because they do evil things, they'll keep on doing evil things.
Most evil people are evil because all their life they have been treated like dirt, unnoticed for all the hard work they do.
And they belive that if they do something evil, they will get noticed, since they're never noticed while being good!

If we noticed, praised, and loved people for the good things they do, Instead of curse, lock up,shoot, rape, kill, hold hostage,
and just plain discriminate people if they make one little mistake, don't YOU think the world would be a MUCH better place?

It depends on what kind of love you're talking about. If you mean, "I'm a Christian and I'm going to marry a witch," then I don't know how well I could accept that. But if you mean, "I'm a Christian, and because Jesus loved the world enough to stretch out his arms and die, then I can love someone I don't like," then yeah, I have no problem with that. :D

Not only do I accept a Christian who loves all, I expect a Christian to love everyone. That doesn't mean though that we have to agree with or accept their beliefs or actions.

God Bless.

I am so glad you weren't trolling. Love makes the world go 'round. May the love of Christ find its way into the hearts of all and may Christians find understanding of the love they possess and its awesome power.

Yet by calling our lack of belief in gods evil, you still manage to hurt us (not hurt feelings--lowered status in society) while pretending to love us. Do you always hurt the ones you claim to love?

Edit: In other words, you're blaming your god for your calling me evil. Or at least, you're claiming to speak for your god. If this god were really loving, she wouldn't go around calling people evil just because she refuses to show herself to them. (The world looks exactly like we would expect a world to look without a god.)

Even if you were right there, though, it would still be wrong of you to go around calling atheists evil. Your religion tells you two reasons why not. First, it says to be kind to others. Doing something that directly harms us is not kind. Second, your religion says that only God can judge.

I know you'd love to come up all sorts of reasons why you can continue to insult us and then claims it's just love, but you're still wrong.

It's hard sometimes because we tend to get on some kind of "better than you" trip. The fact is that we're all sinners, and Jesus loved us enough to die for us.

It's not what we did. . .it's what He did that's important. Seeing people through His eyes is what makes it possible for us to love everyone.
