The owner of a golf course in Georgia was confused about paying an
invoice,
so he decided to ask his secretary for some mathematical help. He
called
her into his office and said, "You graduated from the University of
Georgia
and I need some help. If I were to give you $20,000, minus 14%, how

would you take off?"

The secretary thought a moment, and then replied, "Everything but my

A group of Alabama friends went deer hunting and paired off in twos for
the day. That night, one of the hunters returned alone, staggering

the weight of an eight-point buck. "Where's Henry?" the others asked..

"You left Henry laying out there and carried the deer back?" they

and proceeded to put a bouquet of flowers in front of the car and one

it. Then he got back in the car to wait. A passerby studied the
scene as he drove by and was so curious he turned around and went back.
He asked the fellow what the problem was.

The man replied, "I have a flat tire."

The passerby asked, "But what's with the flowers?"

The man responded, "When you break down they tell you to put flares in

front and flares in the back! I never did understand it neither."

I am giong to spend time with my 12 year old daughter and nephews. I am going to pay some bills( big bills) and maybe go out to dinner with my sister and my younger nephew who is almost 8. My daugher and I love to look in pet shops. I cannot believe for a little puppy they charge about $800 or more for a little pup. But they are cute to look at. So what are your plans for this weekend?

I should have explained. I am 56, don't drive, have a 20 yr. old learning disabled daughter, don't drive. currently live in a city of 120,000 people, no friends, do not have a religious background, extended family refuses to help and my daughter and I are scared to death that my husband will not let us leave. now, does anyone have any different ideas? thanks.

I mean, I've been on this thing for a while now and the only answers I've gotten back from these religious people are either "FAITH!" (the polar opposite to proof), "I'M HERE!" (So? So am I), and various irrelevant quotes from the Bible (Yes, I actually read them, the rather excessive lenght doesn't put me off). None of these actaully qualify as proofs however. I've also gotten responses like "God bless you", and "You will go to Hell". Once again, not proofs, except pehaps an indication of a lack of proof. And don't say you've been "touched" by God either, whatever that implies. It's mildly unsettling, but not a proof. Yes, by the way, I have proof AGAINST gods existing. What is it? The fact that there's no proof for his/her/their existence, and no need for him/her/them to exist. The fact that the idea of a monotheistic god was first devised by a greek philosopher that called himself Plato isn't exatly a good sign either. Well, this is your chance to proove me wrong, go ahead:

especially considering that how does something come from nothing,.................you have to have many things in order for something to go BANG!!!!!! That the mosque or Church that terrorist attended from should be destroyed. That way it will send a message to any other delusional person that if they want their "religions" to thrive they will start acting like normal rational human beings? Almost like treat the whole group like children. Almost saying to the moderates, "sorry they ruined it for the rest of you, now we are going to take all your toys away".

i will be trvelling to canada for may second year of biology degree.I currently live in england . I am of mixed race , ( black and white) but i tend to think of my self as being black . I am worried about being racially descriminated apon in canada and that i might end up feeling depresed and not know who to turn to . I work at an independent living facilty with seniors age 65+. I am the activities director and I am trying to think of ideas to start up a group or club that meets about twice a month. I came up with a name of "Silver Angels." I would like the group to do small deeds for the community but at a low cost. We are a non-profit organization so I am trying to stay within a small budget. If anyone has any suggestions as to what the "Silver Angels" mission should be, please leave me a comment. I'm trying to start up a new group and I'm just not sure about how to go about it.
