It's simple...some people need to lower other people in order to raise themselves up!
The only way we can truly bring ourselves to a higher level is to serve and support our brotheres and sisters on this planet.
No matter what religion we practice....or if we even practice one at all. There's no way to avoid kknowing that we are all "one".
Everything we do somehow affects everyone else.
Want to make a difference?....Hug someone every day!

I believe there are several reasons why people insult others with the most obvious being that the person has low self esteem. Those type of people tend to call out the imperfections of others or speak down to others to make themselves feel good and it's sad.
Then you have people who lash out because of what they've been through in the past. Maybe they've been on the receiving end for so long, that they finally feel the need to isult people in order to get back the dignity they may have lost and this to is sad.
And finally you've got people who want attention so bad from their friends or assoc. that they'll insult others simply to get a response from those who watch the person being verbally attacked.
Some may feel that insults are deserved and to those people I have to ask them, when they've been insulted did they honeslty feel they deserved it and I'm sure the answer will be no. They will come up with every excuse to jusity why they did whatever it was they did. Truth is no one deserves to be insulted. It's a very demeaning and vulnerable situation to be in. I am the kind of person that will pull the other to the side away from others if I feel they've done something I didn't agree with ...I simply call it being the bigger man. I don't need to feed my ego by making a scene of someone in front of others. When people do that I'm lead to believe that they have no self respect and that leaves them open for judgement from others.
We all have off days and have moments where we may be in the wrong, but that doesn't mean that we deserve to be insulted. Just think of it this way, the next time you feel like insulting someone, think of a time when you did something way out of line and instead of someone insulting you, they simply let it go, or pulled you to the side to save face.
I always been taught, it's not what you say, but how you say it, there is a time and place for everything. If you insult someone chances are you spoke on an issue at the wrong place at the wrong time and probably with the wrong tone. Just check yourself before you speak your mind.

When people insult others , specially when you know that they can't insult you back , they feel stronger and more powerful.
They insult others when they know that they are wrong and can't stand being defeated in the argument so they insult the others as a way of self defense .
I see that there is no point in insulting others, probably this will work against you and give you more enemies specially that people never forget when you insult them !

Why do people feel insulted when told the truth?
I don't wonder about why the world is how it is. That is how people want it.
Basicly it is insecurity that cause people to insult others intentionally.

Some people here insult others by the very nature of their questions.
It is very sad, isn't it?
I think some people here are between 10-16 and don't know any better.

Up yours, buddy! That was an insulting question. See how easy it is? ...and you can't do anything about it because I'm sitting here and you're sitting there and neither knows where the other is. We're safe from the wrath of each. Which should point out why people do it - they are cowardly! (just kidding with that "up yours" stuff).

I never liked people that feel they have the right, to insult for whatever reason. Its not a nice thing to do. But i feel its because they feel so down that they have to hurt, bring someone down, to make themselves feel good about themselves. they are a sorry lot.

Sadly, simple disagreement is too often taken as insult. For example, many people here consider it a vile insult when someone here just says "your God does not exist, and your religion is false."

People insult others because insulting themselves is self abuse and we all know that that is not allowed.
