Penecostals would tell you that if you don't work out fully clothed (no shorts, no tank tops, or any of that allowed) you are not observing proper modesty and you're evil.

Frankly, I think the application of common sense to religious prohibitions against anything be the primary consideration. If it doesn't make sense, do whatever you want.

yeah care about your body but dont even think the love of God is measured in your appeareance

God loves people of all shapes and sizes. And I think that you are going to be working out because you respect yourself and would like to take care of yourself health wise. This is not a vanity issue, this is a health issue. He will love you.

Yes, God will love you any thing you go. And going to the GYM is not bad. He even loves the people how don't believe in him.

The passage does not say bodily discipline is sinful, only that it is of little profit compared to godliness. This is because bodily discipline only benefits us in this life, whereas godliness benefits us both in this life and in the life to come.

God loves people of all shapes and sizes...he just loves the attractive ones more... and don't be afraid to ogle the opposite sex, its actually not wrong, plus, He really isn't paying close attention anyway...
