I don't think they hate God as much as they hate people who believe in Him and do what He commands them to do. But we even if we do encounter hatred and persecution we have to keep up the good fight.

The bible says men hate God without cause. All these people on here saying God does not exist are fools.National Atheist Day is April 1st.Saying God does not exsist is like saying the Mona Lisa had no painter,or Mt. Rushmore carved itself. How silly. These people in here cannot find God for the same reason a runaway criminal cannot find the police. The fact that they deny Him is proof that they hate Him.
BTW--why all the lustful pictures,if you want to defend God?Do you believe in the real God of the bible?Or your own Idol?

One cannot hate what one cannot prove exists.
I do, on the other hand, have more than a little trouble with intolerant religious fanatics, especially those who can't be bothered to study things outside their religion.
If an omnipotent, all-knowing, creator god exists, doesn't it make sense that such a god would be an entity guided by logic and reason?
Are religions NOT patently contemptuous of logic and reason? Have religions NOT mercilessly persecuted, throughout history, individuals which do not accept their tenets, or challenge them through scientific inquiry?
It seems to me that if god is everything that the various religions claim "he" is, then religions are also contemptuous of the very entity they ostensibly worship.

I'm not sure who you are addressing this to, but I don't hate Him.
Many who have responded to your question have been taken in by this Enemy's arguments and deception about the truth. Those who hate God or deny he exists seem to want to live their own way for themselves and not submit to the life He calls us to....that of love, grace, obedience and relationship.
Hating God seems to be more a response to not wanting to live a life in accordance with How he wants us to live. We could argue for many more centuries about the existence of God or Satan for that matter. It ultimately comes down to what you really believe in your gut about what will happen after this momentary life on earth is over. Peace.

I don't. He doesn't exist. You can't hate what doesn't exist. Your god does nothing.
And the only reason to tell someone that you're praying for them is that you're trying to cause trouble. If you were really doing it out of the goodness of your heart, and because you think its right, you wouldn't feel the need to get praise by announcing that you're doing it.

For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

I don't. I hate the angry flawed biblical God who IMO isn't the real god.
M.Manson puts it perfectly:
"I never really hated a one true god
but the god of the people I hated"

Thousands of gods were invented. Why do you hate all of them except the one your parents told you was real?
Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

Hundreds of people prayed for me, yet your god never granted your prayers. What's wrong? Are you not praying correctly?
Does your god love me so much he won't torture me for having views he doesn't agree with?

Why hang on to hate. Just let all of the fictional characters feel loved in the same way. I love Animaniacs, Kermit, and Stewie.

I don't hate at all...I am not crazy about the things people do in life..but i don't have need for hatred...it is a very negative force for which nothing good can result.

Who says I hate an imaginary being? I have a hard time hating him if he doesn't exist, especially in his nonexistence, he hasn't done anything to me.
