Is there anybody else who feels an absolute joy and sense wonder and fulfillment when learning about the true scientific reasons for the how the universe and everything that is in it came to be ?

Do you feel an immense sense of wonder and amazement when you contemplate the sky at night and marvel at all we have learnt about our orgins and existance and all that there is still to know ?

Finally do you think that this joy and wonder is far superior to simply accepting ancient dogmatic myths as a way of explaining the world around us

I was taught about the Trinity, or 3-on-1, how GOD, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost are as one. For example, An apple has 3 different parts; the seed, the flesh, and the skin. They are all different, but belong to the same thing. That how i was taught about the trinity. Are there any bible versus about this though?

Please dont give rude comments or tell me not to believe this or something. I am just learning, so all i want to know right now is if there are any bible versus backing the Trinity up?

He declared he will never let his children have dolls, stuffed animals, or action figures, as that would be idolatry. WHAT? I tried explaining that those toys are useful in children learning various social roles and skills....isn't it only idolatry if you WORSHIP them??? He even thinks a bird necklace I have is bad!!!!

Man I used to go to church and believe in God and Jesus and then I just didn't want to anymore. So now I have to listen to all these Jesus freaks telling me how I'm a sinner and how I'm going to burn in Hell. Well I've got news for you he bible says Do not judge others lest you be judged! Oh and I find that only the Jesus freaks judge everyone and have a problem with everyone and how they live their lifes. They hates Gays and anyone different. I think that anyone who judges you and hates you for the way you live your life is going to be the ones who burn in hell! Now wouldn't that be funny is Jesus did come back like they belive and it was them who burned in Hell instead of all the people they thought would. Man now I really can't wait for judgement day.

I have been learning more and more of Scientology via the web. I think that we all can agree that it is very dangerous, I urge you to do your own research and reach your own conclusions.

America was founded on the principles of personal freedoms. If these freedoms do not impose upon the freedoms granted to others, there should be no debate, consenting adults should be free to join lives with whomever they choose.

What right do you have to tell consenting adults how to live their personal lives that do no affect you or anyone else negatively?
