Our spirit-the real us-is saved by Grace through faith, alone. It is a gift from GOD!! Eph. 2:8-9. *One example of sharing with others How To be Born Again{Jn. 3:3-5); How to saved; Receive Eternal Life:
Romans 3:10 As it is written; there is none righteous; no, not one.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord!
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life!
Revelation 3:20 Behold I{Christ) stand at the door and knock: If any man hear my voice and open the door, I will sup with him, and he with Me.
Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the LORD Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation!
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh to the Father, but by Me.”
Romans 10:13 "For everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord [invoking Him as Lord] will be saved!" Amplified Bible.
Example of a Prayer to be Born Again:
Receive the Free Gift of Salvation by Grace through faith in Jesus Christ:
Lord God, yes, I’m a sinner, and I want to give up the sinful way of living and live the kind of life You would have me live. I confess now that I believe that your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, died for me. He took the punishment for my sins on Himself on the Cross, thereby offering me the forgiveness of sins and the opportunity for everlasting life, as is Your will for me. Father God, I honestly believe that Jesus shed His Blood on the Cross for me(for the forgiveness of my sins) and that You rose Him from the dead! By faith I confess Jesus is Lord and ask Jesus to be the Lord of my life right now. Holy Spirit come into my heart and mind also to help me to live for Jesus, who is now my Lord. Thank You LORD God for answering these requests.
I am Born Again by Your Grace through faith, and am a Child of the Living GOD! Thank You for the Gift of Eternal Life, Lord.
In Jesus' Name.
When a person sincerely prays a prayer - something like this in their own words outloud by faith- they are “Born of the [Holy] Spirit”, saved by the Grace of GOD through faith in Jesus Christ. **“Born Again.”{see John 3:3-5--Jesus' words). God will confidently confirm with His Holy Spirit w/in the person's heart-that they(their spirit) is saved-Born Again at that point. *The Holy Spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God !
Heb. 4:12 shows us that their is a distinction between our spirit and soul. The Word of GOD-Truth-shows this. Also read
1 Thess. 5:23 please. Thank You.
*In the book of James-the Holy Spirit instructs us to work out the salvation of our
soul{intellect/mind, will & emotions) with fear & trembling{take it very seriously)!
Romans 12:2 & Jn. 17:17 talk about how to do this; Col. 3:15-16(Amplified) tell us. There are so many Scriptures that tell us how to do this). What happens to some Christians is: after their spirit becomes saved{Born Again, as Jesus put it--Jn. 3:3-5), they[including my] learn the Word of God - good for a while, then the cares of this world: the lusts of the flesh, the lusts of the eyes, and the pride of life - come in and steal the Word from their heart and minds. "I did this for a season-and did not grow much in Christ, until I was humbled by GOD & finally came to Jesus{Matt. 11:28-30). *Your familiar of what Jesus taught about God the Father being the Caretaker of the Vineyard. Jesus is the Vine and Born Again believers are the branches. We-the branch may fall to the ground occasionally-being affected by the world, and the flesh and unwholesome negative thoughts, but the Caretaker-being as Faithful and Loving as He is-always picks us back up, attaches us to the wires that keep us closely attached together with the Vine{Jesus/the Word)-that we would receive the nutrients/life that we need to continue to grow in Christ. However, the branches have a WILL! As the Caretaker picks us up-we can choose to become rebellious because before HE attaches us back, HE must prune us, in order to receive the nutrients of the Life of God once again.
Most believers{including me at times) do not like to receive the discipine and Pruning from the Father. God the Father disciplines and prunes His Children, whom He loves!However, if we are not prunded, we will not grow in the right direction to continue to Walk down the narrow path of Life, to receive the crown of Life. Those who endure to the end(through suffering, trials, tribulation, pruning, disipline, etc) shall be saved{their soul shall be saved)! Their is an aspect of Sanctification that is progressive. After we(our spirit) is saved - the WORD is meant to continue to be LORD of our soul. The Word of God is the Life of GOD for our souls{intellect/mind, will & emotions). And as the Lordship of the Word takes first place in our WILL, we by considering ourselves dead to sin; but alive unto God in Christ Jesus- can say no to sin, when we are tempted and will Walk by the [Holy] Spirit and will not fulfill the desires/cravings of the flesh. While we are in these mortal bodies, we will of course sin; Praise God though that we have an advocate with the Father-the Lord Jesus{Prov. 28:13; 1 Jn. 1:7-9 speaks of what we are to do by faith when we fall/if we sin).
*Even the Progressive aspect of our Sanctification unto Holiness takes place by the Grace of God, as we humbly submit to His will - so we can not Glory in "self" or "i".
The Glory always goes to GOD. *"For it is GOD who works in us both to will & to do of His Good Purpose{pleasure)!" Phil.2:13
*A Christian Book which helps me much in this area is "God's Power At Work in You"
by: Dr. Neil T. Anderson & Dr. Robert L.
Saucy. *The Book is a very thorough analysis of the Born Again Christian Path of Purification(Sanctification) unto Holiness, based on the Word of GOD.*
Please accept this poor answer. I really hope this helps a little. I appreciate you taking the time to patiently read this, Christian friend.
* "May the Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Love of God the Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all ! " 2 Cor 13:14
**"Jesus Christ-the Word-'is'LORD!"**

The great word salvation is used in Scripture to describe at least three experiences for the believer.
a. The once-for-all experience of salvation. It is an experience that has happened sometime in the past: "Ye have been saved" (Luke 7:50). It is the initial act of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is receiving Christ into one's heart and life as Lord. It means being saved or delivered from sin, death, and hell; and being given the assurance that one will never be separated from God—either in this life or in the world to come. (John 1:4; John 10:10; John 17:2-3.,Ephes. 2:5-8; 2 Tim. 1:9).
b. The continuous experience of salvation. It is an experience that is occurring right now, in the present. "Ye are being saved" (1 Cor. 1:18). It is a description of God's work day by day in the believer's life. It is the Holy Spirit of God working within the believer. (Cp. Romans 6:14; Romans 8:2; 2 Cor. 3:18; Galatians 2:20; Phil. 1:19; Phil. 2:12-13; 2 Thes. 2:13.)
c. The redemptive experience of salvation that is to occur in the future. "Now is our salvation nearer than when we believed" (Romans 13:11). This future reference to salvation points to the day of redemption—to the day of Christ's kingdom—to the day when Christ shall usher in His kingdom upon this earth—to the day when God will create a new heavens and earth and bring about His perfect will and rule throughout the universe.

This is what we receive when we accept Jesus as our personal saviour, repent of our sins, confes that He is Lord, that He died for us and will come again to take us home with Him, to Heaven. And to turn from sin and live only as God says to live. WE will have victory in every area of our life, over sin, if we will obey God. And then not only do we get a small slice of the Kingdom of God right here by living Holy lives, but we eventually will go to HEaven and be with God forever. That is the simple plan of salvation, not even difficult, like ppl try to make it. We are saved from the pitfalls of the devil that leads to hell. Jesus suffred and died so we didnt have to. Isnt Gods plan of salvation wonderful? And yet, so many ppl turn their backs on Him and reject that gift. we must pray and pray and pray that their rebellion is replaced by the love of God and a desire to live only for Him.

Salvation occurs when you ask God to forgive your sins and come to live in your heart. It has nothing to do with how good you are or even how good you may be in the future. Paul said it is by grace we are saved not by works. Christ said the way to the Father is through him, and his death for our sins.

Psalm 62 (Today's New International Version)
Today's New International Version (TNIV)

Psalm 62
For the director of music. For Jeduthun. A psalm of David.
[a] 1 Truly my soul finds rest in God;
my salvation comes from him.
2 Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
3 How long will you assault me?
Would all of you throw me down—
this leaning wall, this tottering fence?
4 Surely they intend to topple me
from my lofty place;
they take delight in lies.
With their mouths they bless,
but in their hearts they curse. [b]
5 Yes, my soul, find rest in God;
my hope comes from him.
6 Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
7 My salvation and my honor depend on God [c];
he is my mighty rock, my refuge.
8 Trust in him at all times, you people;
pour out your hearts to him,
for God is our refuge.
9 Surely the lowborn are but a breath,
the highborn are but a lie.
If weighed on a balance, they are nothing;
together they are only a breath.
10 Do not trust in extortion
or put vain hope in stolen goods;
though your riches increase,
do not set your heart on them.
11 One thing God has spoken,
two things I have heard:
"Power belongs to you, God,
12 and with you, Lord, is unfailing love";
and, "You reward everyone
according to what they have done."

Salvation means that I have realized the following:
1. God created me to be in relationship with Him.
2. I have chosen to rebel against the God who created me.
3. Because of my rebellion, I am separated from the God who created me.
4. Nothing I can ever do will be good enough to bring me back into a right relationship with God. Even my best efforts are much like trying to build a bridge to the moon with toothpicks.
5. God knows that nothing I can ever do will be enough to bring me back into a right relationship with Him so He took on the form of a human in the person of Jesus Christ and came to earth Himself to pay the price for my rebellion.
6. Jesus' physical (not spiritual) death on the cross opened the door for me to come back into a right relationship with God, not based on my own works, but only on the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.
7. When I accept what Jesus Christ did for me as payment for my rebellion, His Holy Spirit comes into me to help me live the way He intended me to live so I will no longer be in rebellion to Him.

Salvation can happen on earth too. It's when God is in you and working through you and the Holy spirit is standing with you. When you're so happy and on fire for God that you can't contain it and kinda..Glow.

Salvation is something Jesus did and does. Basically, you take your sin to him, you're forgiven. Jesus rules in your life, you follow him, and if you slip up, take it to Him. It's all about God being the center of your life.

a logical and sensible person would ask themselves:salvation through 'jesus'?? What did jesus do to be punished so harshly (dying on the cross) for the sins of someone else?? is God unjust? of course not! SALVATION IS THROUGH BELIEVING GOD ALMIGHTY AND FOLLOWING HIS COMMANDMENTS.
