Arguably, Christians should be libertarians. Libertarian website lewrockwell.com has an archive of articles discussing Christianity and libertarianism.

Political afiliation has little to do with your religious views. They both come from personal moral outlooks, so they are often related, but they do not directly influence each other, per se.

A Christian libertarian, you say? How is that any different than a Christian liberal, or conservative, or authoritarian? It just determines which filter you view candidates through in addition to the filter of Christianity.
