It seems that a lot of people on y/answer's are really shallow that they think because someone has a certain skin tone that they are good or bad. I think that is beyond immature, agree or disagree that's my opinion.

children was good, drugs and drunkenness was good and orgies and adultery was good, would atheists then believe in God?

Is it the actual presence of God that you can't fathom and His love and powers or have you choosen not to believe because you don't agree with His rules? Even people that were raised as Christians and went to church and Sunday school and all that - as you grew up, what actually was it that made you just stop believing in His actual existence? Or at least the existence of some type of energy or power or force that created the universe? Can you really believe instead that the universe happened out of chance? Plus, if there is a God or some deity out there, why wouldn't He give us life rules and talk to the first people? It does seems like a 'fairytale' but thinking deeply, a Creator, a Designer, a God would let Himself to be known to His first creations and set up some guidelines if there is eternal life. Don't you think? Science opens our minds but so does God.

neighborhoods? There was one neighborhood with cute cape cods and someone purchased a house, torn it down, and built a bigger one than all the ones in the neighborhood. It looked so out of place and changed the character of the hood. Not only that it blocked the sun of some of the other homes. Is this happening in your neck of the woods? Do you think this is fair?

Ok, so Im a christian. Well I believe very much so in God and Jesus and know they died on the cross for my sins. I NEVER push my beliefs on anybody nor bring it up. However all the people I know that do not beleive in Christ always purposly talk bad things about GOD and how he isnt real and make jokes and push their beliefs on me and then turn around and say "Im so sick so people that believe in God trying to force other people into thier religion!" Im so bothered by this. I have a few friends that are non believeers and I love them for them! Im not interested in their spirituality but they ALWAYS degrade GOD and what he is about then attack me with out me breathing a word. So who is the real wacko?

From a neutral point of view, what makes you atheists so sure that God doesn't exist?

I just want you to answer the question, plain and simple. No, you may not answer my question with another question.

I ask what.

You tell what.

That's it.

What Does the Bible say about Witnessing?

Webster’s definition of witnessing is to bear witness to one's religious convictions

The bible says, “He who wins souls is wise.” (Proverbs 11:30)

Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20)

Jesus came to seek and to save what was lost. (Luke 19:10)
As the Father has sent me, I am sending you. (John 20:21)
We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. The man who says, "I know him," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys his word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did. (1 John 2:3-6) Jesus gave his life for our sins. His mission was to seek the lost. We are not suppose to be ashamed of Jesus. We are suppose to following in his ways. If God’s love were in us we would live according to the way Jesus walked in the bible. If we know how to be forgiven of our sins and go to heaven, then why would we not share this with anyone? If you do not share this good news with people then you are not sharing God’s love. This is a very selfish thing to do.

The word of the LORD came to me: "Son of man, speak to your countrymen and say to them: 'When I bring the sword against a land, and the people of the land choose one of their men and make him their watchman, and he sees the sword coming against the land and blows the trumpet to warn the people, then if anyone hears the trumpet but does not take warning and the sword comes and takes his life, his blood will be on his own head. Since he heard the sound of the trumpet but did not take warning, his blood will be on his own head. If he had taken warning, he would have saved himself. But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes the life of one of them, that man will be taken away because of his sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for his blood.' "Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. When I say to the wicked, 'O wicked man, you will surely die,' and you do not speak out to dissuade him from his ways, that wicked man will die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. But if you do warn the wicked man to turn from his ways and he does not do so, he will die for his sin, but you will have saved yourself. (Ezekiel 33:1-9) Once we are born again we are called to be watchmen. Are you going to just sit on the wall and not join the battle of good and evil? Or are you going to stand up and blow the trumpet? When we hear the good news and keep it to ourselves, then we are not being a good servant to others. If you let people in your life die in their sins and not share the gospel of Jesus Christ, then their blood will be on your hands. Do you think we are living in the end times? If you do, are you telling others or are you just sitting on the wall. Friend be bold and stand up for Jesus! If you haven’t noticed we are now in a spiritual fight and we need to be a witness for Jesus. Everyone is suppose to be a witness for Jesus. When was the last time you told someone what Jesus did for them and how he changed your life? If it was not today then what are you waiting for? Go tell someone. If you are asking who, then just be quiet and listen to what God tells you. God will put someone on your heart.

Are you listening to Him? If you do not know what I am talking about ask God to show you.
4 Concerning the works of men,
By the word of Your lips,
I have kept away from the paths of the destroyer.
5 Uphold my steps in Your paths,
That my footsteps may not slip.

6 I have called upon You, for You will hear me, O God;
Incline Your ear to me, and hear my speech.
Psalm 17:4-6
May God Bless you with your next step in the way which leads to life. May God light your path as you take that next step.

The church is governed by the pope in Rome and claims that each pope is a successor of the apostle Peter. Following are some published facts about these so-called successors:

Formosus (891-96): “Nine months after his death, Formosus’ body was disinterred from the papal crypt and arraigned for trial before a ‘cadaveric’ council, at which Stephen [the new pope] presided. The deceased pope was accused of inordinate ambition for the papal office and all his acts were declared invalid. . . . The corpse was stripped of pontifical robes; the fingers of the right hand were amputated.”—New Catholic Encyclopedia.

Stephen VI (896-97): “Within a few months [of the trial of Formosus’ corpse] a violent reaction ended the pontificate of Pope Stephen; he was deprived of the pontifical insignia, imprisoned, and strangled.”—New Catholic Encyclopedia.

Sergius III (904-11): “His two immediate predecessors . . . were strangled in prison. . . . In Rome he was supported by the Theophylactus family, by one of whose daughters, Marozia, he is supposed to have had a son (later Pope John XI).”—New Catholic Encyclopedia.

Stephen VII (928-31): “In the last years of his pontificate, Pope John X . . . had incurred the wrath of Marozia, the Donna Senatrix of Rome, and had been imprisoned and assassinated. Marozia then conferred the papacy on Pope Leo VI, who died after 6 1/2 months in office. Stephen VII succeeded him, probably through the influence of Marozia. . . . During his 2 years as Pope, he was powerless under the domination of Marozia.”—New Catholic Encyclopedia.

John XI (931-35): “Upon the death of Stephen VII . . . , Marozia, of the House of Theophylactus, obtained the papacy for her son John, a youth in his early 20s. . . . As pope, John was dominated by his mother.”—New Catholic Encyclopedia.

John XII (955-64): “He was hardly eighteen, and contemporary reports agree about his disinterest in spiritual things, addiction to boorish pleasures, and uninhibitedly debauched life.”—The Oxford Dictionary of Popes.

Benedict IX (1032-44; 1045; 1047-48): “He was notorious for selling the papacy to his godfather and then subsequently reclaiming the office twice.”—The New Encyclopædia Britannica.

2 Thessalonians 2:10-11 because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

A LIE. (Funny how text books are still filled with lies (like gill slits in embryos. Proven wrong over 130 years ago when Haekel was convicted of fraudyulent drawings 'ontology recapitulates phylogeny)

But here is the best Jeremiah 2:27 "Saying to a stock, Thou art my father; and to a stone, Thou hast brought me forth:"

Doesn't evolution say that 4.5bya the earth formed a rocky crust and then it rained on the rocks for millions of years and turned them into a soupy ocean?!?!

Say to a stone, thou hast brought me forth... LOL!
