Christianity deals with Jesus's return, which is what is commonly called "the end of the earth." Only God knows when it will happen, but there are signs to watch for and know that His return is coming closer.
This website is apparently Muslim, and details the signs.... http://www.jesuswillreturn.com/signs/signs_index.html
Here's a Christian site with that information....
http://www.siscom.net/~direct/return/signs.htm

A LOT of Christians believe that Christians will be raptured or taken into Heaven before the end times events occur....however, there's no evidence in the Bible to prove that. It is a teaching of man, not of God. One of those false teachings that was said to be a sign of the end.

God will teach the church the true religion. He, God will stand on the mount of Olives and every eye will see him. Israel is not a target because of the people.Israel is a target because of the Land. God says that he will come back, stand on the Mount Of Olives.satan and his people say no to this. This is the reason Israel is being attacked,.Not because of the people. It is because satan can not stand the fact that Jesus said that he is coming back and he will stand on the Mount Of Olives! If this is destroyed or wiped off of the face of the earth then how can Jesus stand on the Mount of Olives when he returns. This is why Israel will never be destroyed by anyone. Now the people may be hurt and be put through many trials, tribulations because they are in the Land of the Lord. . I did not understand your question that well.I am sorry. The Lord will set up his church on this earth and he will teach all his people the true religion.I hope I have helped you. God Bless You also!

Unless the Earth is struck by a planetoid, the end will probably come in about 5,000,000,000 years, when the sun exhausts the amount of hydrogen and helium that it can fuse into higher elements. At that point it will become a red giant, destroying the Earth's atmosphere.

I don't know of any religion that deals with such elementary aspects as nuclear fusion. You might think that the so-called sacred texts of various religions were written by primitive sheepherders or something.

The nearing of Judgement day has minor and major signs. Many of the minor signs have occurred such as the strange changes in the weather. The major signs occur after the minor signs.

There is an Angel waiting to blow the horn which will kill everyone who is alive. The second blow of the horn will mark the resurrection of all humans, animals and jinn for Judgement.

Try science.

Provided humans don't eradicate themselves in the near future or find another planet...

In a billion years earth's oceans would have evaporated, making the planet hostile to life.

In five billion years the sun will become a red giant and burn the earth to a cinder (or push us out to a further orbit, either one we are toast).

But given everyone's focus on near-term apocalypse stories (thanks religion), our species may die out far sooner.
