Hiya! Unfortunately in the USA many people ( studies has been done) think that color does determine a person's behavior, etc. They even had a topic on a talk show recently, people said that they usually associated darker skinned individuals as criminals, being poorer, etc, and lighter skinned people educated, trustworthy.
That's all rubbish. Here in the states the majority of the serial killers seem to be white. So that clearly would contradict those stereotypes. Not trying to funny, but you have good and bad in every color or skin tone. Only stupid people believe in such rubbish stereotypes based on color alone.
Peace ;)

skin color can be a matter of up bringing which can effect your moods and personality, and behavior. But it would only partially be attributed to skin color. Gender? You haven't noticed a difference in behavior between the sexes? Male and female hormones have much different effects on the body. Mood swings and nurturing just to name a few, are primarily feminine behavior traits.

Great question. I agree with you and feel the same. I have seen some of the most ignorant people in the short time I have been back on YA. There are some good answers (depends on the question) and some real good people. It's the a**holes that make the good ones look bad.
hang in there

skin colour has no connection to how a person will behave, their intelligence level or any other thing about that person.
people that believe otherwise are ignorant and very shallow.it doesn't matter if a person is black, white, yellow, green or any other colour,if the person,is going to be good, dat person will be good, bad, smart or whatever.

Well you are correct, its imature to judge peoplebased on their race, but at the same time people do stuffs like that based on experience. For instance if I've been rubbed 10 times, and 8 out of the 10 times it was a blue person that rubbed me, would I be racist if I were to stereo type blue people as been huligants?

it does not contribute at all. people are not racist because of skin color, that is the biggest myth. things like personality are causes of racism. For example, blaks have sociopathic personalities, and some people do not like sociopaths and this would cause them to have racist feelings.

I'm with you.
Skin color does not have anything to do with a person's ability, thinking or intelligence. It does not also affect someone's personality.
Well, there are fair-skinned people who are dumb and sarcastic i nature. There are also dark-skinned people who are intelligent and gentle or affectionate.
The race does not have anything to do with behavior. That's it.

Well, black people in my opinion do it to themselves, and I've had other black people tell me the very same thing.
Look at the rap videos and listen to the lyrics. Most of it is directed towards crime and treat woman as objects and nothing more.
You look at the facts and the demographics, the cities where the blacks are the majority are the cities with the most crime. Detroit, Atlanta, Baltimore, etc. The numbers are there, you can't dismiss them.
Black people are loud and obnoxious, in theaters, in neighborhoods playing their music loud. What are people supposed to think?
White people are crackers, boring, have small you know whats, don't speak-up, cowards, rednecks because they watch NASCAR and are racist.
And then you got Arabs. They are terrorists.
These are just a few of the generalizations people have of another race. These don't express my own views and opinions.
What people do is look at the bad in people whatever race they are. Just because a few Muslims are bad and take their religion the wrong way, doesn't mean all Muslims are bad. Just because some black people don't go down the right path, doesn't mean all black people are bad. Just because some white people are racist, doesn't mean all white people are.

Absolutely nothing. The epidermis has no effect on the nervous system, hormone levels, or any of the other elements in the body that effect how we come across to the world.
It starts with how we are raised.
Then it boils down to personal choices.
And if people are ignorant enough to belief otherwise, you've come across someone who likes being dumb and living in their makebelieve world.
Pity them, pray for them, whatever you do, move on.
