Hey Abel,
Original sin is simply that we are born with a sin nature into a fallen world.
I hope you will bless and be blessed.

Jews do not believe in the existence of Original Sin. The concept of Original Sin simply states that because Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, they brought Death into the world. Every human being dies because Adam and Eve committed a sin, and for their sin, all humans are punished with death. However, the Bible describes something entirely different. Adam and Eve were kicked out of the Garden of Eden because if they remained, they could eat the fruit of the Tree of Life, which would make them IMmortal. If Adam and Eve had to eat the fruit of the Tree of Life to become IMmortal, then they were created mortal to begin with. They did not bring Death into the world, and we don't die because they sinned. As a matter of Biblical fact, the answer to Question One shows that one person cannot die as the punishment for the sins committed by another. We die because Death is a natural part of existence, and has been since from the moment the first human beings were created. That is why God told the animals, before Adam and Eve ate the fruit from The Tree Of The Knowledge Of Good And Evil, to be fruitful and to multiply, since they needed to replace themselves. God also told the same thing to Adam and Eve before they ate that fruit as well.

The notion that all humankind is tainted by evil (sin and death) due to Eve's transgression and consumption of the fruit of the tree of good and evil, according to accounts in Genesis.
Original sin is unique among religions. It is a product of Christian theology, first conceptualized in the Catholic doctrine of original sin.

"In the day thou eateth there of thou shalt surely die" God said this to Adam & Eve. "Surely, God would not kill you just because you would know as he knows" and "Eve did take of the fruit and eat" thus "when they heard Gods voice they did hide for they knew that they were naked." God and Lucifer has a confrontation with two people and Lucifer was cursed "To crawl on your belly" Adam & Eve lost there innocence and would eventually die. "There will be thorn and thissle and work by the sweat of there brow and women shall give birth in travaile.
"Where by one man sin entered the world and death by sin so that death hath passed on all men for that all men haved sined"
Lucifer created a doubt and to this day he creates doubts and that doubt has shown to be the larger enemy of Faith

Original sin is the sin of Adam. A nature of rebellion we all inherited.
Christ died for that sin, as the 2nd Adam.

Refers to Adam's disobedience that brought death into the world of men.
The term is not in the Bible but the concept is. See the page on ransom:

Adam by his fault transmitted to us not only death but also sin, "for as by the disobedience of one man many [i.e., all men] were made sinners" (Romans 5:19).

There is no "original sin." Sin is sin, no one sin is worse than another. If you commit one sin, we might just as well commit all of the sins we can think of, because we are still guilty of them all.

To question the word of G-d.
G-d said Adam can have anything... just not the fruit of that ONE tree... because he would "surely die".
Satan asked Did G-d REALLY say that? Pff. Hooey.
Eve got Adam to eat it... and poof.
Fine mess they got us all in.
Though Im not sure we would have done any better.
