My boyfriend is a water safety instructor and i am a lifeguard and most often I lifeguard for his class,well today we kissed right in front of the class...i feel like i was rude....was that rude?

I mean seriously, there is no proof. Is it just some way to excuse yourself from doing heinous things? Or is it just an elaborate scheme to make money? Jesus seems like the ultimate hustler.

I previously asked a question about a wedding toast. I spoke with a coworker of mine and she gave me a phrase similar to one I had gotten on Yahoo! answers, but both translated it differently into english.

WOW! Today I was going to questions that seen to challenge many of the Christian Values that I hold! Wanting to share and witness on them but, to find that they have been Deleated! I do see too many challenges and I Pray that at least what I write may help some of them.

I do not mean to be offensive to ANYONE! I have many people that I know in my own life - I may disagree with them but, we do talk and have nice times!

I try not to be rude, but if you're standing on my porch & you have awakened me at 7am to try to convert me to your sect, I am going to be quick & shut the door.

I have heard every story they have to tell & I have on several occasions out of mere curiosity allowed them to sit in my living room & give detailed presentations on why I should join. However, I found that none of them fit my beliefs.

The girls want me to give them an invite list for a shower. It's going to be a casual type thing, possibly a picnic at someone's house.

We just had a baby shower a year ago, and I invited all of his family, including aunts, cousin's great aunts and second cousins from out of town. Some came some didn't, and most of them don't even really know me.

I am not sure if I should just use the same list.... or if I should limit it to just those people from his family that I actually know personally to some extent and those that live in town.

He just says use the same list because it's easier, but I am not sure if that is the right thing to do.I am not concerned about gifts at all and I don't want to come across as inviting everyone just to get gifts...

... but I don't want to leave the wrong people out.

The answer to this can make the difference between having it at someone's house and having it somewhere else!

I have always used the fact that animals and humans share almost identical bodies to prove the existance of evolution. From the genetic code to most of the chemicals in the body, to the cells and their function; to the organ structures and their function are identical, certainly in mammals and even in other types of animals. So if God did create the world as in Genesis then it used the same template with slight variations for the different types of animals.

All my life i was brought up that god was real, and jesus was our savior, and we should pray, and go to church, i even went to catholic school for several years (though i have no religious affiliation) But i just cannot beleive. I have had a life as such that it seems that if there was a higher being, he is toying with me, having fun with my life. Whenever i get something nice, it is ripped away from me. This applies to most things in my life at one point or another. I consider myself agnostic, beleiving in SOME form of high power, weather it be ghosts, aliens, or something alltogether different, but i find it hard to beleive in a "god" that would let such things happen to generally good people. I also find it hard that some people can actually be rewarded for being wicked. My sister is a HORRIBLE person, she does drugs, drinks, is a homosexual, and does tons of other bad things, including pick on me ALL the time, but she has EVERYTHING. How can i accept a god that allows this?

I really feel special when people take time out of their day to write hateful thing about my skin color. I'm just so bashing..=)

Speaking to a co-worker the other day, the subject of music came up, and we discussed what bands we listen to, to see if we have any in common. I then showed this person my artist list in my MP3 player - to which they proceeded to say that "I don't judge people by the music they listen to".....

They then find out that Fall Out Boy is my favorite band, and makes a statement of "People who listen to music like Fall Out Boy are losers"....

Would they be deemed to be hypocritical, due to the fact that they first state "They don't judge people by what music they listen to" - then afterwards, make a statement how if people listen to a certain genre of music, then they are "losers/posers"?

Acts 1:9-12 Says it took place at Mount Olivet, FORTY days after his resurrection. Now really, how could such an error be written into the Bible if, as you Christians say, it is Inspired. Wouldn't Jesus or God have transmitted them the TRUTH?

I am a 15 year old girl and I am Bisexual. I have feelings towards to of my best friends, but a stronger feeling towards one, Colleen. Colleen is also bi and has had sex, with a girl. But I just can't stop thinking about her and what it would be like to have sex with her. Should I tell her that I like her? What should I do?
