According to the Jewish religion:
A JEW must follow all the 613 mitzvos, or he will go to hell/be punished. Likewise if he does good he will be rewarded.
One important thing to note is that our version of hell if VERY different than yours. The Jews believe that Hell is sort of a cleansing process. You do suffer there but it only cleanses you, if you sinned, so that you can go to heaven. A person can't be in Hell for more than a year.
If someone is a Gentile it is entirely different. As long as that person follows Sheva (7) Mitzvos Bnei Noach (Noahide Laws), and is a good person, they will not go to hell. They were not born Jews and are not required to follow the 613 mitzvos of the Torah. These are the seven mitzvos:
The seven laws listed by the Talmud are:
Prohibition of Idolatry: - You shall not make for yourself an idol.
Prohibition Murder: - You shall not murder.
Prohibition of Theft: - You shall not steal.
Prohibition of Sexual Promiscuity: - You shall not commit adultery.
Prohibition of Blasphemy: - You shall not blaspheme.
Prohibition of Cruelty to Animals: - Do not eat the flesh of a living animal.
Requirement to have just Laws: - You shall set up an effective government to police the preceding six laws
So in short, the answer to your question is NO. We don't believe that good people that are non-Jews will go to hell.
That is why you don't see Jewish people going around trying to convert every person that they meet (the most annoying and selfish thing out there). However, we believe that every Jew is responsible for one another, and if another Jew sins, we all suffer for it. Therefore you will see many Jews such as those belonging to Lubavitch try to bring non practicing Jews back to THEIR heritage.

You seem to have some expertise approximately Judaism, yet in simple terms in case you do no longer understand approximately sacrifice (goats, etc.)... Sacrifice isn't conceivable with out the Temple. i'm no longer precisely constructive what the Christian answer is to the reality that the "suitable" sacrifice (Jesus) did no longer happen interior the Temple. in spite of everything, the 1st time the Temple advance into destroyed the Israelites exiled in Babylon replaced sacrifice with prayer. The 2d Temple advance into destroyed in 70 CE, in simple terms on the time Christians have been beginning as much as place in writing approximately Jesus. the 1st challenge confronting them advance into sacrifice. Voila -- Jesus advance into the suitable sacrifice. Jews had already had adventure with out the Temple and returned replaced sacrifice with prayer. .

I don't think you should assume that. Paul says that the Jews are still under the covenant of the law, and presumably they will be judged by God accordingly.
