It's called the Matthew Shepard Act and was recently passed by the US House of Representatives.

You can very quickly send a short note to your state's senators by going to this link:

Look for the search window in the upper right corner.

Why do so many people think that every single muslim in every part of the world hates every single jew in every part of the world? So what, Palestine and Israel are what represents us all? Ahh, gimme a break!

What do you think of this quote?

"And behold! a bier passed by Muhammad, and he stood up; and it was said to him, "This is the bier of a Jew." He said, "Was it not the holder of a soul, from which we should take example and fear?"

Do not speak ill of the dead.

When the bier of anyone passeth by thee, whether Jew, Christian, or Muslim, rise to thy feet.""

Whenever a large group of individuals is being manipulated by a single individual, a small minority, or a doctrine created by either, they tend to exhibit three specific features:

1) They always claim their participation is of their own free will.
2) They always claim their doctrine is sacrosanct (& perfect.)
3) They always declare outsiders to be "the unenlightened", but they always welcome them to "join in."

A final feature is that on the occasions when people escape these social control mechanism, they always feel guilty for having participated, and they often make devoted efforts to "bring down" the aforementioned institutions in the future.

Look at all historically oppressive societies, groups, organizations, cults, and governments. They all possess these features. Now look at religions. What do you see?

Now think...

Isn't it possible - just possible - that the religion you believe in, the religion you are certain you follow of your own free will, is actually controlling you?

I refuse to believe homosexuality or any sexual orientation is genetic. Fact is, we have only double the genes of the common fruit fly, and some studies show that our personality is essentially based on our upbringing as an infant and a young child. For instance, if you are left crying for long periods of time, you will leave your children in the same manner. If you are vicious and violent, you will repay your environment with the same behaviour. You will often choose the same partner as your parents did, also - this is very common.

Nor do I believe it is a choice. You have no control over your environment when you are that young. Your parents do. This is why some behaviours are mistaken for genetic, when they are merely grinded into the personality.

However, the option for 'alternative parenting' remains, and since we are capable of homosexuality, does that automatically mean it is natural? I'm split about this.

The question might sound funny but it begs to be answered. Everytime you see a person of color (i'm mixed so dont call me racist okay?) The media loves to talk about the horrible conditions they grew up in, no father etc etc, But when it's white folks from the trailer park, It's "screw them-let em all die" i mean what kind of double standard is that? Dont they desearve as much sympathy as the rest? They get lamponed on T.V and the media all the time and it,s alright. But dont say the same thing about a ghetto dweller and that makes you a horrible person. Answer honestly people! (By the way this question arises from a skit by the comedian louie c.k , so yell at him not me. I just want the answers!)

I'v always wondered.
Do they type in Spanish or English and a translator program automatically replace the word with a symbol OR do they chose the symbol 1 by 1 to finish a sentience? But they wouldn't do that because it would take forever.

Why are the extremists ignoring the commands of the Quran and the Sunnah?

Here is one example:

"The greatest crimes are to associate another with God, to vex your father and mother, to murder your own species, to commit suicide, and to swear to lie."

Why won't they listen? And why are the leaders of the extremists telling them not to study Islam? Is it because then those who are would be extremists would know that their actions are against Islam, and are hurting all of the muslims of the world, not to mention the victims?

I believe in God, and at the same time in some part of evolution. I believe that: Humans can evolve, for example change their skin color to adapt to the weather of a place.

Animals may change the contortion of their body, however I dont think that a fix evolved in a cat.

I believe even monkeys have somehow changed from the way they were in the past, not all, maybe just some.

what I dont believe is, that humans came from ape.
I don't believe that we were first apes then humans.

What do you believe or dont believe?
