From what I understand, basically, Wicca, Witchcraft, "the Secret", the Occult, etc. are all based on the belief that we send out "vibrations" into the universe. The vibrations can be either positive or negative and the results that come back to us will be according to the type of vibrations we transmit. Basically, we are just a microcosm within a vast macrocosm where changes are effected on every level of the universe via these vibrations.
This concept is different from that of Christianity because Christians believe that God is responsible for any blessings we receive and we access said blessings through prayer. We also believe that there is a specific force for evil in the universe (ie the devil and his minions) who are responsible for the evil things that happen in the world. We also use prayer to request protection from the devil's evil designs--prayer being part of the defensive armor from God in Ephesians 6.
In contrast, the above belief systems access their desired results through the use of specific rituals, or the use of certain phrases that are believed to alter the vibrations and, thus, the universe in one's favor.

Christianity and Witchcraft?
I could not possibly fit it in a nut shell. Why?
There's that wide, uncrossable chasm separating the two, as in Heaven and Hell. Christianity (whatever anybody says against it), comes from the heart of the gracious God. Witchcraft, on the other hand, comes from the destroyer, Satan.

They are the same in that both are belief systems like atheism that most individuals identify with and thus relieve themselves of going any deeper to uncover the truth for themselves. They are both also a way to identify with others and feel safe in the world. They are all manifestations of the shallow levels of human consciousness. It is quite amazing what a label will do for a person, or should I say to a person? The main difference is in style as a previous person mentioned. All belief systems are more alike than different.

I think the big difference is one's concept of Source. For Christians, it's a deity who has certain rules and attitudes. For practitioners of witchcraft, it's more abstract, more universal, and may or may not involve a deity. In witchcraft we are part of all the energy and it's just a matter of learning to use it; in Christianity you are separate from it and must be granted things by an outside source.

in a nut shell, the former is a misunderstood form of communicating with your own godself through rituals used to project your will into the universal will , and the latter is just an idea which teaches us not to judge each other but which judges any one who doesn't completely believe in that bullsh*t to eternal fiery suffering.

The varied answers speaking from the point of view of the Witches is the result of YOUR wording of the question. If you MEANT to ask "What is the Difference between Wicca and Christianity, you would have received a lot more knowledge.
Not ALL witches are Wiccan. AND not ALL Wiccans are witches. Wicca is the Religion that is practiced by a LOT of witches (not all). Wicca is a religion that practices the worship of BOTH a Goddess and a God. Wiccans hold a VERY high regard for the natural world and celebrate the Goddess and the God AND the world through their rituals (Esbats and Sabbats) by following the "wheel of the Year". There are 8 Sabbats in the Wican religious calender as well as celebrations at the FULL moon and the NEW moon (not all celebrate the New moon). Wiccans tend to have a very unique relationship with Goddess and God. They speak with the Wiccan (not directly but by revealing themselves and their wishes to their hearts and spirits) through deep meditation sessions. Wiccans worship the MANY Gods and Godesses that have been known and some that have never been known to humans. Most choose only one or two specific Gods or Goddesses to "work with" exclusively, Others choose them ALL and depending on their needs will address one at one time and another at some other time. As you can see, Wicca is a poly-theistic or Pan-theistic religion in which MORE than ONE divine being is worshjipped. Christianity, on the other hand, is MONO-Theistic. Christians believe in ONLY one God, the God of Abraham and he is a male, exclusively. All the attributes that Christians assign to God, we Wiccans assign to BOTH the God and Goddess. WE do NOT believe in Hell, a Satanic being devoted exclusively to "evil", sin, reward-punishment, nor do we hold with the 10 commandments. We believe that we should do NO harm not only to anyone but to anyTHING. We take FULL responsibility for our own actions and do NOT have a "get out of Hell free card" (Jesus as a saviour). Because we accept responsibility for our OWN actions we realize that what we put OUT to the world comes BACK to us. Sort of a "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" concept. We do NOT believe that we are above or superior to nature but rather we are only a small PART of it and, we try to live our lives in harmony with the universe. Christians tend to believe that they are the MASTERS of the world and it is subject to whatever whim or exploitation that they wish to do.
Christians tend to adhere to their Holy Book (The Bible). Wiccan have no "common Holy Book" Each Wiccan writes his/her own holy book, called a "Book of Shadows" by most. It contains our rituals, meditations, recipes, herbology, healing recipes, and spells. To a Wiccan, a spell is nothing more than a prayer to the Spirits accompanied by "props" (for lack of an easier term for the average person to understand). This is Wicca in a nutshell and an awful LOT has been left out.
However, contrary to what the Evangelical Fundamentalist Christians have posted here, we do NOT worship Satan or the Devil. We are NOT evil. We do NOT hate the God of Abraham nor do we even hate THEM. Wicca is a very accepting Faith and we feel that there is NO one way to have a relationshipo with the Divine. We accept that ALL ways are valid for who ever wishes to practice that way. We do NOT attack their Religion nor do we attack ANYONE'S Religion, for ALL are sacred to the believer. Some Wiccans DO bring up the "Burning Times", a period when Christians persecuted and killed a GREAT many Witches. But MOST of us do not even do that. The Christians DO hate US however. Simply because we do NOT accept and follow their Jesus. They feel that any who do not are rejecting their God and so are considered to be "wicked". That's THEIR problem and THEY are going to have to deal with the repercussions of that sort of hatred. That is not for US, however, and we refuse to buy into their hatred and return it, choosing to simply ignore it all.
I truly hope that I've answered SOME of your Questions. For more info on Wicca and Witches in general, you may wish to go to Witchvox.com and explore around there for more info. I hope that you DO understand us better now and wish you the best.
Brightest Blessings,
