life after death

I doubt God will give you a choice, but just say God did would you stay behind on this earth full of horrible people, or would you say to God "Lord I am ready plase take me". My desisions would be Father, please take me. I am not affraid of death. So christians what would you dicide? I have 4 children and three out fo the 4 do not need me. One of them does and her name is Rebecca who is 12. She loves coming around my place every second weekend and we have fun together, I take her out, but her things, watch tv with her, eat a good meal together, go to church together. She is saved so if I go home she is in God's hands. My other 3 are being looked after. The deparment of humas services are going to ask my other daughter Sarah who is 10 at my request if He wants to see me. I believe she does as she has not said anything to the contary. I know deep down she loves me.But she is in good care by her grand parents who are looking after her. So christians I would say take me home. What would

I used to ask myself whether "Is God really there" manytimes earlier in my life, but in november 2006, 7 months back, while I was praying, I received the gift Holy Spirit just as Jesus has said recorded in the bible. I knew its all so true. I feel God's presence everyday.

Everyone today speaks with slang and made up words. It's as if they've made an actual attempt to un-do what the school systems have done. Why is it that only about 30 % of Americans speak fluent english?

people who are being les or gay and people who steal,back stab,or gossip or hate or humiliate are sinful?are you saying that they just don't realize what they are doing?why they keep on doing it?i think it hurts other people and it affects others?is it that they are blind?but i don't think so they are blind,they have eyes and they know it is not good.....but why they keep on doing it?But God still loves them?why god didn't make them realize what they did was wrong?i mean is this because they just don't believe in god?and god let them so whatever they like?i never judge les or gays as long they dont hurt people but gossipers ares bad.....

I have a furnace boiler to heat the house, lots of copper pipes go all over the house and then on those copper pipes some aluminum things .... what are they....

and then a white metal covers that stuff...it heats the house! What's that aluminum thing I'm cutting them off cause they're all bent and dusty...no good. I need to buy more but I don't know what they're called...can you help me?!?

I am a single lady and a married church elder came just to visit one day to 'see how I was just getting along'. His wife is lovely and the truest person you could ever wish to meet. All of a sudden her husband said, "I'm sure God won't mind you fondling yourself, seeing as you've no husband". How on earth the conversation ever got round to that beggars belief. I had done/said nothing to get this remark/comment. I feel upset about what he said. How should I handle this?

Personally, I think it's because we can't. If we do, they will harm those who speak out and their families. So, we do what we can. And this is exaclty what we are supposed to do, and what I want to do. What do you think of this quote?

The little 7 year old girl across the street had a yard sale on a Tuesday evening from 6 to 8:30 pm. She knocked and rang my doorbell 4 times asking me to come over and shop. She had toys and clothes out. She gave me a paper with scribbling saying "Yard Sale". I told her that I was in the middle of something. She needed to have it on a Saturday morning not on a week night. She was dirty as usual. This time she had dried paint on her body and in her hair. I told her to take a bath. She said " I need money. We are so poor". I asked her, "Aren't we all?" She said "Thanks anyway". This little girl is getting more weird everyday. My parents would beat the living crap out of me if I ever did such a thing. Modernity is looked upon as forward looking force, while tradition is something that has existed in the past. Will the two of them always result in conflicts or are there some cases where they can fuse together without any conflicts.

How does tradition help to forge our identity, as in, how can we say who we are through our tradition?
Does being modern destroy that identity and make us a completely different person?

Did I do the right thing?
Today my ex said he was leaving for vacation next week and that he wasn't going to be coming back. He told me he was going to sell his World of Warcraft account (for those WoWers out there, he has 4+ level 70 chars with whatever the top gear is...he has worked hard at it), he said that his son ((11 years old)) is getting on a plane on thursday and he (his son) would probably end up staying there. He asked me to take his cat, he said he was going to give away everything else. We are both in the military, so we have been to plenty of suicide awareness briefings, in which we are usually told certain things to look out for, in which I believe he is a classic case. The problem is, I know he knows what to say to make it look that way, and I honestly if he is trying to get me back in one last desperate attempt, if he is crying out for help, or if that is what he really plans on doing. So afterwards I went and talked to the chaplain and explained the situation to him. ((More below)).

So the chaplain called him. I talked to my ex afterwards and he said he didn't need to talk to the chaplain. Is there anything else I can do at this point, I did intervention, is it out of my hands. I honestly don't want him in my life, and I'm not going to let him use this as a ploy to get me back, but I don't want this to end in suicide, plus that would tramatize his son. Why are people so selfish!

I wonder how many of you think it is annoying to deal with people who become citizen or stay in this country as a permanent resident. ,but refused to learn speaking in English? I came to know SOME Chinese ( whom I have to deal with) live in this country for 15 years still don't speak English at all.
I got pi$$ed with this telemarketer who keep calling the restaurant where I work, trying to advertise something but doesn't speak English at all. And insisted to speak to a person who speaks chinese.WHY?

I do speak a little chinese but I think if you stay in this country, you should use English . Not Chinese. You cannot expect everyone speak the language. If you want to advertise something especially when you're living and working in the states please be able to speak in English.
