What do you think of people who do not want to speak English?

I wonder how many of you think it is annoying to deal with people who become citizen or stay in this country as a permanent resident. ,but refused to learn speaking in English? I came to know SOME Chinese ( whom I have to deal with) live in this country for 15 years still don't speak English at all.
I got pi$$ed with this telemarketer who keep calling the restaurant where I work, trying to advertise something but doesn't speak English at all. And insisted to speak to a person who speaks chinese.WHY?

I do speak a little chinese but I think if you stay in this country, you should use English . Not Chinese. You cannot expect everyone speak the language. If you want to advertise something especially when you're living and working in the states please be able to speak in English.

Speaking easily understood English should be a requirement for applying for US Citizenship, and it should also be a requirement for renewal of a Resident Alien Visa.

People who don't want to learn the language of the country they are living in should return to their home country.

I would like to translate for them, but I can't keep doing every little thing for them all at once. It is something that I only wish to become skilled at, not as a lifetime job.
language is one of those things where you really got to make good use of and hopefully apply someday if you ever wanted to have a job that was even better, like for instance, in the healthcare profession, or law.

perhaps you are talking about old people. please respect them.

your words valid when you are talking about young people because they should learn to speak english.

but for me, it will challenge me to study their language. i will think positively.
