It's a simple question. But please, please, follow this one request of mine for this question:

Do not answer with a reason why I can't go to Heaven! Tell me why I HAVE to go to Hell.

Whenever I ask a question of this sort on other sites, I get the generic Christian response: "Well we all sin and fall short of the glory of God." Which makes sense as to why I can't get to Heaven, but doesn't explain why I have to go to Hell. It can easily be turned around: "We all do good and fall short of the evil of Satan."

If Hell is just where God sends us because we can't go to Heaven, that sure doesn't seem very just. "You didn't accept me, so I don't care about you. I'm omnipotent, so have fun in the fires, baby, nyah nyah nyah!"

So, could anyone answer this question without saying anything about why I can't go to Heaven?

People like to take the actions of people calling themselves muslim and say that it's ISLAM. They don't think that maybe, just maybe, the name-only muslims went against the teachings. They see something on the news, and say "Oh, ok, this is what they are all like".

Ok, let's do this. We keep hearing on the news how American women are murdering their children. Microwaving them, cutting off the babies' arms, drowning them in bathtubs, strapping them into their carseats and sending a car into a lake, or giving birth to them at work in the bathroom and throwing them in the trunk of a car in the middle of winter.

So should I derive, from daily news reports, that all American women will kill their children even from the moment of birth?

No? That's stupid you say? I can say the same about those who watch the news and derive the same of everything else. Doesn't feel too great, does it? BTW, I am an American woman, a Muslim American, and I would die for my kids safety.

The worldwide flood that destroyed all life on earth except for Noah, his family, and the animals in the ark occurred in 4990 B.C. In 2 Peter 3 God refers back to this flood and then transitions to the destruction of the universe by fire. In verse 8 God says, "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day." This is interesting because God told Noah to get inside the ark 7 days before He brought the flood (Genesis 7:4).

In verse 8 of 2 Peter 3 we read that interesting Scripture. If we add 7000 to 4990 B.C. (1 day = 1000 years) we arrive at the year 2011 A.D. Is this the year Christ will return as the "Lion of the tribe of Judah" to rapture the saints, destroy the universe bringing judgment on the ungodly, and create a new Heaven and Earth?

Before you answer, remember God told Abraham and Lot before He destroyed Sodom + Gomorrah.

**PLEASE NOTE: I AM NOT STATING A DAY NOR HOUR; JUST The YEAR.

I know what traditional Catholicism is, and I've seen the pagan fruits of "progressive" Catholicism (reiki, enneagrams, etc). But what is a "Moderate progressive" Catholic, and what does that entail.

Serious responses only, please no anti-Catholicism. I'm looking for an accurate definition or characterization. Thanks :)

I, as a wife, mother, and woman, would say yes. Some men think we have it so easy, but they forget that we are literally in pain most of the time. It's either the monthly or pregnancy, and that isn't any picnic either. This is a site that states why a muslim woman can have birth control or not. What do you think of it? I think it explains it well, and most other women could agree with the vanity part of it.

After about 4 months I finally told my family that Im going back to the catholic church. They didnt get mad, but they said a lot of rude things. My 32 year old sister said she would rather me be a satanists then a catholic, my mom and sister got into a talk about how the catholics worship mary and the saints, and they both said that the bible tells you not to do what catholics do.
Im not sure how to respond. I knew they wouldnt be supportive, but that was very hurtfull.

P.s. I know that some of you are thinking that this question and situation sucks but please just play along with it.
