I, as a wife, mother, and woman, would say yes. Some men think we have it so easy, but they forget that we are literally in pain most of the time. It's either the monthly or pregnancy, and that isn't any picnic either. This is a site that states why a muslim woman can have birth control or not. What do you think of it? I think it explains it well, and most other women could agree with the vanity part of it.

For permanent contraception, here is an example. A woman who can not have natural childbirth could lose her life having a c section. Anything may go wrong. She may opt for permanent contraception to save her life.

The world is overpopulated as it is. We need birth control - our resources are heavily strained. And women having 6 kids isn't helping. I know its their choice and children are a blessing, but think about what you're doing to your own kid's futures.

At this rate of birth, WWIII will be fought over food and water. Save your children and grandchildren's Earth - wear a condom.

I know what most religions say but I also know how dangerous a pregnancy could be for me and a baby it I didn't plan for it. I have diabetes and if my levels and meds are not right, I could have a baby with all sorts of issues, including a premature birth, and it could cause serious issues to my own health as well. I also have serious complications with my back and take pain meds every day, to that is another issue I have to consider. I believe planning a pregnancy is my only option, and birth control is necessary for me.

I think you are mentally bound by a misogynistic religion. Contraception is readily available and you should take advantage of it if you so desire.

My thoughts on your website's preachings? Anyone that buys into that crapola still treats women as chattel and should be locked up.

For example, these are listed as "acceptable" reasons for reversible contraception:

Physical weakness. * How about exercise instead? If she is so weak, should she even have sex?

Sickness. * Hubby should keep it in his pants.

The wife maintaining her beauty or figure for the sake of her husband. * WTF??? Kind of like polishing his trophy, eh?

The couple being on a journey or in a distant land. * Excuse me?

Adverse political conditions, e.g. children are forcibly separated from their parents as is advocated by communism; etc. * Sure. There are lots of these places.

The couple decide to separate in the near future. * This one is great. I'm going to dump you but I will screw you until then. LOL!

The wife is an immoral person. * The ole chastity belt routine.

And Muslims wonder why the world laughs at them?

I do not believe in abortion perse but if the woman is raped and choses to end said pregnancy then I think it is her right. Birth control shoul;d also be her right but I also think if she gets married they should bring children into the world.I have a tough time with this because I always ask is it for the right reasons or is it for the woman to be able to have mutiple partners without worrying about pregnancy. There are two sides to every coin and debates to go with each.

If you want to believe in the Muslim ways, it is your right.
I, though would not go to such extremes. I do believe in
birth control, instead of obortion, sometimes, being used as
birth control.

Women should be given the choice of weather to get pregnant or not. After they have chosen, they should not be allowed to murder someone based soley on their age.

If the woman did not have a choice then an exception could be made. ie rape

I say wait until the kid is 16 and see what a jerk he turned out to be. Then get a retroactive abortion. (Murder based on age )

of course. I do not see why it should not be allowed, I had no idea it was not allowed in some places. I still favor death penalty for Dr who do abortion.

Oh sure, why not? While we're at it, let's encourage sex outside of marriage, mass abortions, alcohol abuse, and everything else that God didn't want us to do.

Oh wait a minute! We already do that.

Just curious, you are "in pain" most of the time during what, exactly? And when did "vanity" become an excuse to do ANYTHING?

All women should have reproductive freedom. Birth control and abortion should all be safe and legal
