It's a simple question. But please, please, follow this one request of mine for this question:
Do not answer with a reason why I can't go to Heaven! Tell me why I HAVE to go to Hell.
Whenever I ask a question of this sort on other sites, I get the generic Christian response: "Well we all sin and fall short of the glory of God." Which makes sense as to why I can't get to Heaven, but doesn't explain why I have to go to Hell. It can easily be turned around: "We all do good and fall short of the evil of Satan."
If Hell is just where God sends us because we can't go to Heaven, that sure doesn't seem very just. "You didn't accept me, so I don't care about you. I'm omnipotent, so have fun in the fires, baby, nyah nyah nyah!"
So, could anyone answer this question without saying anything about why I can't go to Heaven?

pggirl: I don't like that opinion simply because I didn't choose to follow Satan. I don't believe in Satan, so how can I choose to follow him? Also, I really don't like the whole "If you're not with me, you are against me" ideal to begin with. It just doesn't seem fair that God was mark me as a follower of somebody I don't even believe in.

Glen L: I believe that God shouldn't send people to torture forever for simply not believing in him due to a lack of evidence. He KNEW that I wouldn't believe in him to begin with, (omniscient), so I believe that if I can't live in heaven, I should at least not be tortured for eternity for not doing what he knew I would do. I don't believe in Heaven or Hell. I'm making the assumptions of God, Heaven, and Hell for the sake of question.

Nicole B: It is not my choice, because God knew that I would reject him before I even existed. I have tried to believe in Jesus, but the lack of evidence, and the total absurdity of the concept of God needing to send himself down to earth and then sacrifice himself to himself in order for himself to forgive humanity is too absurd and contrived to believe in. If I've been shown the truth, then it should be more persuasive than the other hundreds of "truths" in the world, and it just isn't. As for God being full of grace, I don't consider "believe or burn" graceful at all. It seems just like the sort of mentality of a ruthless dictator. Thank you for putting together such a detailed answer, but I'm afraid that it isn't convincing.

You can't go to heaven because there is no such place. The only hell you go to is that you put yourself through here on Earth worrying about mindless babble such as that you are getting in other "responses" to your question.

Why in the world would you be sent to Hell?? First off, I'm not totally convinced Hell exists. I do think there are many different places after we die, some that are a lot nicer than others. I think the lower levels might be what some call hell.
But I can't answer your question because I don't believe a loving, benovolent God would send people to hell based on what religion they believe in. I have a hard time understanding how that makes sense to anyone. But then again I don't see God as some power hunger ogre on a throne issuing harsh orders. Some people here yes...God no lolol.
I think yours is a good question, but best I can tell is the ones that should be answering it, are so blinded by beliefs that make no sense they won't be able to. And those of us that do, well, not sure that is what you want. But thought I'd put this out there FWIW. But this much I defy anyone to disagree with...how can any MAN judge who is or isn't going to hell (if such a place exists)? Or is it that they just feel they can speak for God? ;)

The answer to both questions is the same, but I think I understand what you're getting at.
Everyone deserves to go to Hell. Hell is reserved for those who have rejected God. When we reject God we are rejecting him who created us. We reject God when we disobey his rules. Everyone disobeys those rules (as you have been told "all have sinned...") so we have all rejected God. When you reject your creator, you deserve the punishment that he has determined for those who reject him.
You're statement "we all do good and fall short of the evil of Satan" is not true for two reasons. First, apart from God we can do no good. So it's false just on its surface reading. Second, Satan is not our judge. Satan doesn't decide who gets into Hell based on what they've done, but rather God decides.
Furthermore, Satan isn't in charge of Hell -- God is. Satan will eventually dwell there. Right now he's in charge of the Earth and he dwells here.
As far as why you can't go to heaven, that's a question that can't be answered. God is in charge of who gets in. I can't say that you will or you won't. It's only by God's grace that any of us make it in. We'll hope for the best for you.

No that is not a Christian belief, in my opinion. That is a Christian fundamentalist belief, but I hope you have concluded from R&S experience that most Christian fundamentalists tend to be morons. The Christian belief is that forgiveness of sins comes from faith in Jesus, and that is a guarantee of salvation. Jesus will judge all, Christian and non-Christian, on the last day, and those who have more sins than good deeds will be burned up in the lake of fire, that is the second death, spiritual death. Those who have more good than bad deeds will be rewarded in heaven based on how good they've been. You might need to read the Gospel of John and Revelation again to understand this. Read below so you can believe me. Jeremiah 17:"I the LORD search the heart and examine the mind, to reward a man according to his conduct, according to what his deeds deserve." Psalm 62:11One thing God has spoken, two things have I heard: that you, O God, are strong, 12 and that you, O Lord, are loving. Surely you will reward each person according to what he has done. Proverbs 11:18The wicked man earns deceptive wages, but he who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward. 19 The truly righteous man attains life, but he who pursues evil goes to his death. Proverbs 19:17 He who is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward him for what he has done. Proverbs 24:12 If you say, "But we knew nothing about this," does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who guards your life know it? Will he not repay each person according to what he has done? 2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad. Revelation 22:12 "Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done." There are many other places in the Bible that says the same thing about judgment. Jesus came to save those people doomed by their accumulated bad deeds. Jesus allows forgiveness of the mountain of sin, similar to a moral bankruptcy, so the person can start over debt free. Some people, Like Gandhi, will not need forgiveness to get into heaven. Others like Jeffrey Dahmer, without forgiveness, is doomed to hell no matter what he does, so he needs Jesus if there is a chance for eternal life.

I believe hell is death, end of existence. This is what I think the bible teaches. Everyone deserves to die because we all fall short of being the right kind of people. Some are better than others, but only relatively. God knows the heart and we all have a sinfull heart. I know this is true, because I do.

God owes nothing to anyone, and needs nothing from anyone.
Due to Adam's sin, and absent the free gift of God's grace, hell is the default destination for every soul.

First off, if you accept the fact that hell pertains to this earth, it would dawn on you that hell is not eternal. Yes, you would probably return thousand times(reincarnation), yet each return involves a better you from the previous life - because you evolved from mistakes(sin). Eventually, you would achieve perfection as in Christ. No longer you would have to return for another physical body but you might return for your old body(Resurrection) as your final work.
Our spirit initial state is in heaven. But because of the spirit desire for physical body, it engages into what we term as creation from the universe to human beings. Spirit quest is really to attach itself to the physical body permanently. And since, obviously, it can not be done in one try it keeps coming back learning from previous mistakes until it can finally achieve its quest.
I represent no religion in particular which give me a unique advantage to explore.

Do you feel you deserve to go to hell? Who told you that you can't go to Heaven?
You DO NOT, have to go to hell! Accept Jesus, believe that He died for you and loves you, live your life according to His word and you can and will go to Heaven.
You will only go to hell if you stay in sin and continue to reject the Lord Jesus Christ.
People send theirselves to hell. He was beaten, and died on the cross for you, why can't you live for him. It's not hard. Actually it is the greatest expierence and feeling you will ever have.
If it means that much to you to ask the question then why not do something about it TODAY!!!
God Bless.
