What happened to their faith in God and not following the wicked?

Ok so i have been attracted to women for a while now um lets say 1year and whenever i see like a hot girl pass by im like she's hot!But i dont know since im still attracted to guys and well i have a boy friend but not attracted to him as much as some women and the freaky thing is i had a dream last night that i was kissing a girl and seriously i felt happy in that dream but also freaked out when I woke up!!IIts like i feel that i like men but i like women more.

Please help im really confusd over here!!!

when i was born again, i had these awful nightmares, and some folk told me that they were demonic attacks because i had repented and joined christ, i have been christian for almost 3 years now and its been great, but recently i have been getting strange, nightmares again, and they are spiritually based but they arent very nice, and so now am reading a book called the bondage breaker, i just wanted to know do other christians know of this, any experiences?

HEAVEN OR HELL.thats what i think and its true i know its too hard to believe but i cant explain anything right now because if i do u guys might think im crazy so i dont want to type alot for nothing just to let you guys know GOD does not like disbelievers and there are so many disbelievers which is a said thing becuase theres a god which we cant see right now becuase this is a test thats why this life is so short.this isnt real life it cant be no way i know beucase i read the Q'RAN theres english versions so that americans can read im telling you believe just believe im arabic and i dont do the wrong things because its really not worth going to hell for.if your vary good and pray,believe,fast and listen to your mother at all times b'cuz she gave you life.this is important to follow.just do the right thing now so when its judgement day which is the scariest craziest day in the world.allah will forgive what you did in the past and see what kind of a person you are right now & go2 heaven

n. One who disbelieves or denies the existence of God or gods.

Why do you who profess to be atheists even bother coming to the religion area, let alone asking or answering questions? If you truly didn't believe in God, wouldn't you try to 'educate' & persuade those of us who you feel to be misled instead of being hostile, denegrating, demeaning, etc.? If you truly didn't believe in God, wouldn't you be apathetic to what us 'stupid idiots' choose to believe?

just on how we look.As we are both basically compared to other countries "NEW" and are made up of immigrants.So to say we are like them because you can not tell us a part is not an answer.
Name difference and other similliarites besides that ..
Mine would "AS FOR DIFFERENCE" we do not have segregates neighbourhoods ..racism is not a widespread issue as in the states due to their history with slavery which we never had "

I need 20 hours of volunteer work to complete my culinary degree. Any suggestions on what I can do? There aren't alot of 'soup kitchens' in my area and I'm pretty sure stocking shelves in food pantry won't cut it. I need to complete this by July so any suggestions will be appreciated!

why do people especially after a display of shocking behaviour claim "I have stong christian beliefs" when it is evident from their behaviour that this is not the case.

or when they claim that they have recently found religion and this will mean "of course" that they are changed forever.

this is especially for polititians and celebrities explaining themselves in interview

I cringe every time I see this on TV.

my hersband(yes, u read it right. we're lesbians) were watching a documentary at my parent's house called Nazis in America, a Secret History. my dad came into the house, saw what we were watching, and made a very racist comment. i was offended, and told him so. well, my mom was in the kitchen, and he said something to her, n she yelled at him saying that he didn't pay attn to what he was saying(he's hard of hearing). we walked to the island bar in kitchen, and i remarked how racist my dad was. n my mom, who to this point had said nothing to either of us said "well, i can't help what he is, and ic an't help what you are, but i don't wanna listen to either of you". my mom is veriently anti gay, but we thought we'd made some headway about it. my hersband and i are planning on starting a family soon, but after that, i wonder if i should let them see their grandma. my mom said she didn't know if she'd show up for it ne way(i'm giving birth). what do u think? p.s. we left immediately.

For those christians who have never read a bible, Revelations 21:8 makes clear God's promise to kill anyone who doesn't love him.

Genesis 6, 7 shows this God drowning all the babies and butterflies because he was fed up with humanity and had a temper tantrum.

II Kings 2: 23-24 shows this God having 42 kids torn to bits by two she-bears for calling his prophet "baldy".

The tale of the Exodus shows this God deliberately interfering with Pharoah's ability to make his own decisions (God "hardened his heart" whenever Pharoah was about to release the Jews) so as to give this God yet another excuse to inflict his sadistic plagues on people who have no part in the decision-making process (like massacring the first-born of Egypt).

I've been challenged over whether it is loving of me to ask pointed questions with respect to these 'god-like' qualities, all of which are attested to in the bible.

What do you think?

I had a friend who decided to become Christian about a year ago, then I found out she smokes marijuana. I think that is hypocritical. Am I wrong? Not only is it illegal, but she used to scold me for using curse words but doesn't understand why I have a problem with her smoking. Just curious as to what others, Christian and otherwise, think about this.

I've always found it ridiculous that people give so much power to words. I know that it's not just the religious who are opposed to swearing; you can get fined for swearing in public or flagged for doing so on this website. Yet Christians seem to be opposed to it on a moral level.

I understand the that argument Christians don't want to offend people so they avoid specific words that may do so. (Although they manage to offend with other words more often than not.) Beyond that, no where in the Bible does it say "Thou shall not say ****." English didn't even exist back then!

Additionally, Jesus himself had a bit of a potty mouth. In Matthew 23 he called the pharisees "Serpents, brood of vipers!" Calling someone a brood of vipers hardly seems like swearing to us but that's the problem with translation. The Greek word he used was very offensive for the times, would have been the equivalent of calling them "dirty rotten ****" these days. If you're a Christian opposed to swearing, why?
