I don't know French! How do you pronounce this Debussy piece I'm learning for piano called Pagodes?

pa - go (o like in plop, bob) - de (you don't pronounce the 'e' at the end)

If its borrowed from portuguese: pah-gaw-days

I think 'pagoad' as in pagoda minus the last 'a'
