ie lets say a bug sits on him and all the adults start screaming and yelling traumatizing the child......that child will most likely be scared of bugs for the rest of his life. Most likely the child will not remember the particular experience but will keep the fear.

There is nothing more scary then a all powerful God who will torture you in hell. How is teaching a set dogma to a child not brain washing?

i was thinking of visiting a kingdom hall.
do jehovahs get together on saturdays or on sundays?
also i know that god & jesus are seperate 2 beings.
jesus is gods son.
also that when we die , we sleep till jesus comes again.

Wouldn't God have had other cultures write of him and their history? And how would other people be able to read the hebrew bible back then if it wasn't just meant for hebrews considering that the languages were mixed up and the people spread out too far.

I believe in God with no proof just faith. But part of me has to believe because I need to know that what comes around goes around & if the SOB'S in this world don't get theirs on earth, I take comfort in knowing that they will be dealt with in the after life. Since you don't believe in Judgement Day, how do think that people like Jerry Falwell will get theirs for causing so many people so much pain in life?

....when you want to ask that someone in an appropriate way that you want proof that they are HIV / STD free without seeming rude / stuck up? When do you ask them about their sexual history when you want to take the relationship to the next level? Is this something that i should ask them in the beginning of the relationship? What do other people do in their relationships? I know that I'm obviously supposed to trust the other person before I decide to sleep with them, but they might not know they have something or it's been a long time since the last time they've been tested; i just don't want to offend anyone. Do newly wedded couples do the same thing? I'm not in a relationship right now, but I was just curious just in case I get a summer fling or get into a long term relationship or something. THIS IS A SERIOUS QUESTION!! PLEASE NO BULLSH*T ANSWERS. THANK YOU!!

while at work these co-workers began talking, this guy asked this girl what she was doing tonight, and then she said she was going back to her hometown, and then this guy said he was going to be playing with someone's boobs and she asked who's boobs and he said "melinda's boobs, " (my name's melinda,btw) and i was right in front of him and he laughed about it and i was speechless, i was like "jeremey" because that 's his name and he said "what ,you can't say aything , your blushing" and i was like , i put blush on today, but i'm not blushing and then he didn't say anything afterwards.. should i have just shrugg it off, i think he knows i like him, but i'm trying to get over him b/c he is soo rude sometimes

I just found this site, I draw SSA disability and usually stay on R&S. I am an American Minister who moved to the Philippines to do both ministry and have a better life with my income.

Since I found this site just now, I have to ask (SERIOUS ANSWERS PLEASE).

Is there any of you who are "true" Christians who are disabled but would like to Minister in some way the word of God in the mission field?

Including slight mental health problems (I am bi-polor, stress on depression)

Doing your own Ministry, (or helping us) paying your own support and living better than you can in the U.S. on your disability income?

my best friend, who is gay also, always insists that my material interests are associated with my sexuality. he says that i like "boy" music, mainly alternative rock, and "boy" cars - ford mustangs. its annoying.

anyone else have a friend or family member who is like that?

i just dont understand why he thinks that way, considering he is gay as well
